"They had to go down many steps of stone to get to gusto, which has about four tables outside and a dozen or more inside, emphasis on Italian eating, but very new and interesting combinations, especially the risottos and excellent lamb. beautiful wine list, inexpensive. we came when it was opened at 20 o'clock and at 9:30 o'clock they were full."

"Ayant très faim ce midi, je me suis arrêtée au Joffre, dont on m'avait parlé. Salle impressionnante quand on entre, restaurant "cosy" au 1er étage, ambiance très originale....! Je m'installe près de la fenêtre, bien sympa. Propositions du jour à mon goût (en plus tous les restos ne proposent pas des plats du jour le samedi....) : garbure, filet mignon/frites maison et salade, café gourmand pour terminer ! Excellent. Pour l'accueil : sympathique dès l'entrée, serveuse agréable et souriante, service très bien. Quant à l'assiette, copieuse, viande tendre et sauce très bonne. Les frites, un vrai régal (je n'aime que les frites maison), et le café gourmand... très gourmand ! (finalement, je n'ai pas pris la soupe) ; le tout arrosé d'un petit Montesquiou (je ne bois que du blanc....). Tout ça pour un prix plus que correct vu ce que j'ai pris ! Franchement, j'y retournerai. Merci à ceux qui m'ont donné l'adresse :-)"

"Moi, qui avais donné un avis favorable, et bien je reviens dessus. Ma dernière commande était vraiment décevante. La pâte était brûlée, très dure et vraiment pas bonne. La garniture était pratiquement absente. Je n'en dirais pas plus, mais je n'y retournerai plus."

"The restaurant is in the Hotel Parc Beaumont, where we were staying, so we had the added luxury of being able to enjoy a very good meal, and then go to our luxurious room. Service, preparation and choice in the restaurant were all excellent -- to be recommended. (Head waiter speaks EXCELLENT English, which pleased me no end!!!)"
