"We came here on a recommendation from some locals in the village and were not at all disappointed! It would be a pity to visit Polop and not walk up the hill, to enjoy its charming old streets with beautiful traditional houses. This bar is the cherry on the cake at the top of the hill. It is not a difficult walk and you will be rewarded with spectacular views, a warm homely welcome from the staff, an authentic rustic setting, good drinks and delicious cooking. The light breeze up there is a great relief from the heat. If you’re looking to get off the tourist-beaten track, this is your place!!"
