"Wow! Just wow! Monk's BBQ has the 80 on Saturday. My father's birthday party at Williams Gap (WG) Winery, and the event was better than we could imagine. Wendy, Monk's Catering Coordinator and Bridgette, WG's Manager has joined forces to deliver parties that made our guests compliment on our choice of venue and food. But it was not just about the calibre of the event room or the silence of the kitchen that was served... it was about the professionalism of the staff that both the Catererer and the winery provided. Staff: Both Paula and Nick from Monk worked seamlessly with Renee and Susan from Williams Gap to ensure that our guests were well fed and well cried. Paula and Nick's presentation and delivery (passing hors d'oeuvres) was about as efficient and professional as it gets. And the duo of Renee and Susan did an incredible task to keep our glasses full of WG's excellent wine. The Venue and management: Williams Gap Winery is one of the latest wineries from Loudoun, but her manager (Bridgette Smith) is not new in the industry. In fact, she strengthened her customer support skills in our minds (and hearts) on another winery in which she managed to do it. We were sad to see her vacation. When we found out that she took over the leadership position at Williams Gap, we couldn't wait where we were gone. We were not disappointed! The food: Monk 's BBQ is known in Loudoun County for one of the best bbq restaurants throughout the region. But what many of their satisfied males do not know is that they have a top notch deposit business that rivals other established caterers in our area. In fact, they became Best of Loudouns Top Cater of Loudoun Now. And now I know why! It begins with its catering coordinator Wendy Eversole. Apparently she was in business for many years before she went to Monks and is well versed in the culinary wishes and wishes of wedding, corporate and other private event clients. So, a first timer like me running through the process was cake on foot for them. She suggested I go with Hors d'Oeuvres, mushrooms filled by Spinat Bousin, caps and individual fruit bowls, to sautéed shrimp and an incredibly ornate cheese plate. Once again, their catering staff presented our delicious treats with the greatest professionalism. I know that this evaluation is quite lengthy, but we have shown the loyalty to the restaurants and wineries that took care of us in the past. And being creatures of habit, it was an exercise to leave our comfort zone by trying out a new winery and for our special event... Williams Gap and Monk really came through for us. You both get an A, double thumb up, and whatever you can think of either or both, for your next event."

"8/3/2022 was at the Purceville pub this evening. Bartender named Luren was friendly and helpful with the menu. Their special tonight was seafood linguine in a red sauce. Sounded good but I like the freshness of shrimp and mussels in a garlicky broth and evoo sauce. Lauren went to the kitchen and had them make it exactly as I wanted it. Have to say was as good and fresh as anything I have ever eaten in the Purceville area. Great portion, shrimp, mussels with fresh garlic, evoo and broth. Dish was 4 stars. Value and service was great. Even gave me garlic bread and extra sauce . Thanks to Lauren for going to extra mile. A really great dish and great service."

"I ordered by Uber Eats, and my order was quickly prepared and had great packaging. The food was still hot and they even threw cookies and all the utensils I needed for my family. I called her to thank her for her service, but the person at the reception did not seem to care. It's good, I understand it's late: but I appreciate it and will order again soon!"

"Sunday was my first time visiting Sunset hills vineyard, and it was a wonderful experience. Beautiful views and tons of places to sit outside and inside, they have music every Saturday and Sunday, you can bring your own food to enjoy while you sit outside. They also offer some cheese, deli, crackers, and spreads. You most try their bread!"

"It 's always a treat to go to WK Hearth. Its ambiance is inventive hip and authentic farm décor. The wines are a great draw I always find a wine that impresses me, and I have to take a bottle home at a great discount! They have multiple tasting flights and imaginative descriptions of the wines to shape your tasting experience. I 'm always interested in what the chef will be featuring really, really good local ingredients make for a delightful, delicious find each time. I have to say that the service is exceptional as well. It is so hard to find quality service these days the waitstaff who are pleasant, cheerful, knowledgeable, who clear the table and fill water glasses (with filtered water at the right time, give you a new fork and knife for your entrée (instead of saying, save your fork! , check back on you without intruding, and without making you wait forever if you need something. Just really well trained in fine dining service. Love it."
