"Don’t let the appearance of the exterior deter you. Service is friendly and efficient. Some of the best fish and chips around, but that’s not all. Appears to be well visited by locals. Quaint decor with local artists work displayed on the walls. Reasonable prices...and generous servings. Very accommodating for various dietary requests. Would not hesitate to recommend."

"A bit of old world charm in the cozy little coffee shop and patio. This is our go to coffee stop whenever we are in town for tea/coffee and a light lunch or homemade treat. The other day we had ordered their lunch special of a very tasty homemade tomato soup and a perfectly grilled cheese sandwich. With a beverage and the soup/sandwich combination it was around $25 for the two of us including tip. The service is always more friendly and social than most places we go showing pride of ownership and the desire to welcome their customers and put them at ease."

"The place is super funky, retro, antique, a very comfortable, cozy feel. Love the quilt covered wicker, and charm. So much to look at in every direction of the property. We enjoyed amazing treats: a buckwheat/almond flour layer cake that was to die for, and a poppyseed, raisin pastry - not nearly as good, but still nice.I'd spend a few hours here any day of the week - but of course, they are only open on Saturdays! Summary: high quality ingredients & taste--equally high prices!"
