"The Kew Ask Italian is our favourite. Its a shame its 200miles from home, but its worththe drive! . The staff are freindly and attentitve, but not 'in your face '. Food is delicious. The noise level is good, not too noisy, but not like a library. Highly recommended. This was the 3rd time we 've booked through opentable and the 3rd time the restraunt didnt get the reservation. I 've now learned to phone them the day following making the reservation to confirm they have space, and usually have to book direct with Ask. This wont put us off Ask Italian, but it dosent give me confidence in using OpenTable."

"Walking into the Richmond Hill Bakery is a bit of a clenched teeth experience these days. Choosing what to buy is ok (not a fantastic selection, but some very nice stuff albeit croissants in pre pack bags(! . But then comes the hard bit: communicating with the surly, reluctant staff especially the guy. How long must I stand there, clearly wanting to place an order, waiting to get eye contact from the bloke as he fusses with the till and deliberately ignores me? How many times must I say what I want while I'm apparently deliberately misunderstood? And if I have the impertinence to arrive at, say, 15 minutes before the official closing time... I'll find the staff washing down the floor and telling you to go away."

"I would not say that I am a big fan of fish chips, but pier 1 seems to have become a regular hunting for our family. even better because traditional fish and chips are only part of their menu. if they, like me, are not a fan of the fritted bread variety, pier 1 has many delicious tasty for them. the brunette is a special favorite (educated) and lobster (if available) is too good not to order. the owner is incredibly friendly, helpful and courteous. eating is delicious and the restaurant is always clean and well presented. a long way from the greasy spoons that are synonymous for British chippy."

"Came here for dinner tonight. The food was very tasty and the portions were quite big. I noticed that nothing on the menu was very hot (spicy), instead they focused on infusing their food with authentic Indian herbs and spices. To start, we had popadons and deep fried king prawns (although having lived in Hong Kong for 10 years we didn't consider them very big). Unless you really like Indian spices a lot, I wouldn't recommend ordering the prawns as they have a very strong flavour to them (a little too strong for my taste buds). Then, we ordered 2 vegetable dishes (one was a sweetcorn curry and the other an aubergine dish can't quite remember the names of them), 1 chicken dish in a mild tomato cream sauce and a lamb biryani. Everything was delicious! The vegetables were cooked just right and the meats were tender and juicy. This, along with some nam bread, was definitely enough to feed 4 hungry people, maybe even 5 not so hungry people. When we arrived at 7, the restaurant didn't look very busy. But later in the night, it started to fill up. If you're planning on having dinner later, I would recommend booking a table."

"Every part of our meal in the glasshouse last weekend was brilliant. the greeting, when we came in, was welcoming and attentive, and that went through for the service all the way. then the beverage menu was varied, good value and delicious, even if we also get our drinks. then above all, eating was excellent. our Ochsen book and Polnta star was tender, generously glazed and very moorish (although a larger part would be great my pork was perfectly boiled, pink, and came with a delicious apple sauce and reduced jus while my partner venison, with tiny venison pie looked amazing. both desserts, a chocolate and hazelnut tart and a poched pine with pear sor...read more"
