"Went here for my daughter’s birthday, very disappointed with the food and service. The sandwiches were dry and scones were hard as a rock. They overfilled the catheter, so the coffee spilt all over the table and floor, we had to ask twice for Tea and when we asked for Prosecco, there was none available that had been chilled and had to wait for it to be chilled in the freezer. Overall very poor experience and we will not be returning, overpriced for the £120 that we paid."

"They are so friendly I felt like I’d made a mate within minutes. Top quality food delicious range of ingredients, it was hard to choose. I went for a breakfast cob. Normally, I avoid sausages (you never know what you’re gonna get), but...this sausage, egg bacon one was perfect. Every mouthful a joy. The bacon nice thin crispy, the bread light great texture. Coffee was lush I had a slice of lemon cake too. Just tasted perfect none of the food was too heavy or stodgy I felt pleasantly full, not stuffed still wasn’t hungry hours later! If I lived closer, I’d be there all the time "

"I am a member of a small group of retired friends who walk most wednesdays. The Cuckoo Bush has been a Pub we have used for lunch many times over the years. We had to stop walking during lockdown and found on one occasion, that the Pub was shut. It was only recently we heard it had reopened, and we lunched there after walking today. As it turns out it was Jo who served us and we were impressed at her friendliness. We had a snack lunch, and were impressed to find that Gluten free bread and rolls were available for my friend, who is a Cealiac. We had a very nice lunch, the beer was good, and the Pub is now back on our list of lunchtime walking Pubs. Well done."

"What a great płace to have a day out with your children. We’ve just been to a lambing open day. Many people, friendly staff and loads of animals you can cuddle. Very educational for adults and children. Nice shop with organic food like wine, jams, meats, etc. Absolutely recommended for everyone."

"We went in on a whim and took a bottle of wine from the off licence accross the road which is also great value. The service was lovely and it had a real family feel. The owner who also served us is a very nice gent and a real character. The food felt like it had been created with real care and attention and also tasted great. We got an absolute feast, 2 curries, rice, samosas, naan bread, popadoms for just over £20. Couldn't finish the job. Will definatley be going back."

"Used new computer system. was in order, but then had to go to pay for drink anyway as drinks not available on the computer. uneven..staff very friendly, fried bread was too thick. too. had thick before other morrisons. only dilute, stare for it."

"Went here for one of their weekend evenings where they do pasta and pizza. We started with focaccia followed by pizza and gnocchi and then cheese. All were delicious and plentiful. We completed with a bottle of their Polish red wine which was light, easy drinking and went well with the food. Service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive and friendly. All this in the usual O’kende relaxed style."
