"Willie runs a great simple deli. Sanwiches are old style good. The young lady that makes the Chicken Poblano soup is fantastic. Thick 'n rich. Very fulfilling and tasty. She serves it Mondays Tuesdays."

"The place is extremely charming. The food is not my cup of tea, very fancy and not much of the dishes, but tasty. The service was stellar. Our server was very attentive and nice. The restaurant doesn’t has a liquor license but they will let you bring your own booze, and lucky enough there’s a liquor store right next to it. I had a great time and would comeback for a class."

"Came to this location for the first time today with my husband for lunch. We were greeted by the manager when we first walked in and asked us what we would like to order. He was very friendly and repeated our order back to us to make sure everything was correct. It wasn't too busy when we went in and the restaurant looked clean and tidy. The sandwiches were delicious and didn't take too long to make. I've seen other reviews on here where people have complained about lack of meat on their sandwiches but we had a totally different experience. We will definitely be back at this location again due to the friendly staff and good sandwiches."

"I wanted curry and Cocos ichibanya messed up on the waiting list and I decided yo come to Zen. Located in a big but little shop center, I wanted to find Curry spot and better than Cocos(it's not the same compare to Japan/Hawaii).A simple decor, zen wasn't busy(2pm). I ordered the beef stew curry, garlic Nan, and takoyaki(still can't find an authentic takoyaki spot in SD). I'm not big on spicy food and I got a level 3 and that was good enough for me. Good flavor and tender meat. Maybe I didn't see the menu more, I think I had to add the potato and carrots. Nan bread went well with the curry and the tokoyaki was fried but top with bonito(not alot of other spots do this).After looking at the menu, there wasn't additional toppings of potatoes or carrots. In all, it's okay curry. Wish they had that options or maybe I didn't ask. I'd go back only cause Cocos isn't the spot. It's just well known. After curry, you can get some milk tea next door. On to the next."

"We came on a Wednesday afternoon around 6:30pm. They were not too busy but had customers eating inside and also outside. There are plenty of large tables inside and also a large area outside right next to the restaurant. Very family friendly location. They are in a large shopping center with a huge parking lot where there's a Best Buy on one end and a Starbucks on the other. We ordered the small family pack that states it serves 4. It was way more food! I think it could feed even up to 8 people! (Ok, maybe 6 depending on how much you eat). But it was definitely way more than just for 4 people. Very generous portions! The beef was amazingly good; seasoned just right (not salty), moist and juicy! The saffron rice was also super moist and juicy! The salad was super fresh. Not a single leaf that looked bad. Very delicious. And their sauce: the jalapeño and cilantro sauce (green one) is so good! Very spicy and does not taste like cilantro at all which I like since I hate cilantro. So if you are a non-cilantro eater like me but like spicy sauce, try their green sauce. It is good. It felt spicier than their red sauce. All four sauces are a must have to complete the meal. Update on the green sauce a couple days later: it does taste like cilantro more than it did when I first tried it. But the spiciness still wins over the flavor and is good! If you are getting the plates or the other smaller orders, they do have a sauce station in the store. Make sure to grab the sauce! The staff were very kind and worked really fast. They packed the food with care and you can actually see them prepare the food as they have a glass window towards the kitchen. A place you can trust the food will be great quality."

"Food wasn?t bad. The chicken sandwich was quite good. Ordered a burger as well. My only complaint was the food seemed pre made. So once I ordered, they pulled out prepackaged ones already made and gave it to me. Still tasted pretty good."

"The problem with this place is the way they making pizza ???? we order twice and both times it?s was a very bad pizza ???? One time they didn?t had enough cheese ???? on the pizza and the second time I toke this picture I be wish they someone that care about costumers service and responded to my first email of complaints for this pizza ?"
