"We were in the middle of a property hunting visit to Saint Lary (not Saint Lary Soulan). We searched out this auberge in the centre of town. A beautiful little auberge set by the river with a lovely little cafe style bar at the front and a restaurant at the back. The restaurant terrace overlooks the river. As we were lunching we sat in the cafe/bar/shop area. We ordered the set menu (3 courses for 15 euro I think). Simple food but beautifully cooked. A really tasty home made vegetable soup with beautiful homemade bread, followed by braised chicken legs in their own sauce. A third course of brulee finished off the meal before we carried on with our househunting expedition. Will definately go back soon and try an evening meal by the river."

"Sérieusement les gens qui adorent n'ont jamais manger de bon burger.L'accueil plus qu'à revoir, deux nénettes jouent à la courte paille pour savoir laquelle aura le droit de se tourner les pouces en faisant le plus la gueule ... tout ce qu'on souhaite commander n'est plus disponible (4 fois soit on a pas de chance soit on se fou de nous... heureusement c'est une ardoise... ) ici on paye avant de manger j'ai vite compris pourquoi la note de 55€ ne valait pas plus de 30€ sans saveur sans rien en fait...Les frites sont maison... ce qui ne relève pas d'un exploit dans ce type de restaurant.Nous avons l'habitude de manger de bons burger et pour moins cher dans un cadre beaucoup plus sympa avec un sourire gratos ...."
