"I was a customer at this cabane a sucre for Christmas dinner and I think it was a very average experience when it comes to eating this cabane a sucre is located quite far from montreal in a small town on the north shore. While it's a beautiful city, I don't see why someone would go from the city or a tourist there. it is not very glamorous and very agricultural. the restaurant itself is located in the middle of a field. they need to take a private car to get there, I don't think there are buses and in any case no other forms of public transport, so their only medium is a private car (I would not recommend a taxi, as the bill will be enormous and to my surprise, it can't be booked to go or come from this location) the place itself has a lot of an old restaurant, in the interior it is a very large area that is suitable for various events. in the did this place offers high times and other similar events if there is not a restaurant setting. the toilets need drastic overhaul as they can see that the pipe line from any latrine without interspaces between each. you really need to stick to the one you use so that the guy next to you doesn't see your private parts. expect nothing nice, I think it's a solid 2 out of a 5 points scale of fanciness. while the experience is not bad so far, eating is where this place measures it. the menu begins with a cream made of sweet soup, which is actually delicious, but then with the entreen that only a combination of different dose foods are drawn together. I was dressed by some sausages that were immersed in maple syrup, but they taste just like the twenty toned sausages. the same applies to the mini-wars, they can still taste the liquid in which they were obtained. then hot menu is also not so good, although of. while many of the meals were christmas and the sort was good, it still feels tasted that it is a lot of food. the deserts are not so far from the rest. the fruit salad is dried in the sugary liquid in which the preserved fruits are served, and the strawberry cake is extremely rich in sugar and not much in the strawberry so on the eat, that is the main offer of a restaurant, this place achieves a solid 1 of 5 I can not say much about the service, the waiter and waiter were really nice and very attentive. they were constantly looking over our table and took away the dirty dishes. Actually, I do not recommend this place unless they are actually a local and come from this part of the city or are a real quebecer that is very in the local culture. I live here most of my adult life and still felt like a stranger between the masses that were in this restaurant. even the dance scene was something from an old local book with the square dance. please like this review if you find it helpful. it has been designed to provide leads and insights for their next trip or visit from the perspective of one with consumer and traveling"
