"Great diner! If you want breakfast, this is the place! The staff is super and super helpful! We went as a big group and they took us as well as possible. The food was very good and came really fast for what was ordered. If you get toast, don't miss the Italian bread!"

"Been a long time since I had eaten here. My DIL thoughtfully made reservations for Mother's Day. I had my favorite, Eggs in Purgatory. Delicious as always but the famous Perrecas bread was toasted with no butter. (Is that a COVID thing? My son had Eggs Benedict which he enjoyed and our companions had Scrambled eggs with Fennel which they enjoyed, along with another order of Eggs in Purgatory. For Mother's Day it was jamming with an additional tent set up outside. Took time to get our food and settle the bill. Not a surprise with the volume of people. Enjoyed nonetheless!"

"My husband and I enjoy eating at the Moon and River, we ate here when we both still ate cheese/eggs, and we still enjoy it now that we are fully vegan. We only go here if we are ready for a slow-paced leisurely meal, as like other reviewers have mentioned, it can take a little while to get your food. Lots of yummy sandwich options (I love the tofu, vegenaise, avocado sandwich) and good breakfast options too, try the vegan breakfast Richard is very friendly, and the atmosphere is cool. We enjoy the nightly music and the neighbor-feel of the place. The portion are reasonable, some people might say small but in reality they are the right amount of food you should eat at a meal, not like the mountain of food most restaurants serve these days."
