"I finally visited this place for the first time and I can’t believe it took me this Long to check it out! Really friendly service, nice and quiet ambiance with instrumental music in the background to calm your soul while you dine. And the best part is of course how flavourful and wholesome their food is. Everything came in generous portions, and are made entirely from whole foods, without losing out on flavours. Cashew nuts are used in replacement of peanuts, which I was skeptical about at first but realised it was actually a pretty nice addition nutty but not too heaty. What I had: thunder tea rice and Bak kuh teh noodles What I prefer: thunder tea rice ranked top 5 in my list of thunder tea rice in Singapore"

"It takes a bit more effort to get a vegan meal here at this quirky outpost, but you might be worth it for the fresh air and the locally cultivated products (which they say is chemically free. We have made the trip here under the assumption that an ecologically and socially conscious farm would have at least a few plant-based options in its restaurant (the "bread" in its name, so we were a little surprised. When we asked our servers which of the articles on the menu were vegan or could be made without eggs, milk, etc., they did not know, and they pointed us to the checkout. The cashier also didn't know, and asked another person behind the counter who didn't know, and finally they took the head of chef (which we appreciate, and what will be followed will be familiar to some of our colleagues vegans. We: Hello, could you please tell us what items are vegan in the menu? He (friendly, but a little hurry: forget the menu. I'll do something for you. Don't worry, we have a lot of vegans here. But tell me what you mean with 'vegan', because there are so many variations of vegan. We (trying to keep it easy as it seemed time / interest to hear: no eggs, no milk, no honey, nothing of animals. Okay, I'll do something for you and if it's wrong, I'll take it back. We tried to further clarify, but he moved on so that we thank him and went to sit down. When he arrived at our table with bowls in his hand, he said, I hope soybeans are OK and repeated his comment on so many variations of vegan," he said. We: 'vegan' means nothing that comes from animals. But some vegans say they eat eggs, and some eat nothing, so I tell them: "Here is a banana. Have fun. We have made a gentle attempt to clarify, but it was clear that he 't really listen, so we thank him and enjoyed what has proven to be a fairly standard South Indian Thali - which, fortunately, are actually made from plants. It was tasty enough and we were grateful to the cook to receive us. After the meal we had a nice walk through the large gardens. Overall, it was good and worth a visit if you happen to be in the area, but we cannot really say it is worth a special trip on the whole island (especially not for vegans).
