"Food absolutely delicious! Great atmosphere! If I have to be picky, I'd say that our waitress could have been a tad more attentive and that the main course came out a bit too quickly following our starters. However, we both went for fish and the dishes we chose were fabulous (scallops and Hastings fish cakes followed by cod with bubble and squeek and the lemon sole (a special on the day . We still had room for desert and the apple and cinnamon tart was incredibly light (deceptively so and the welsh rarebit just perfect! I'd definately recommend this restaurant and we felt it was good value as well. The friendly pub next door is a bonus!"
