"Recently went to the Lock House and left very annoyed!! To be fair to the waitress she was as disgusted as we were!! The problem on this occasion was management!! It was a beautiful summers day, we had moored up our canal boat and gone...for a walk down the canal to stumble across this beautiful place. I was with my dad and year old son. We decided we would stop for tea and ice cream for the little one. The menu offered deserts with ice cream and so we thought that asking for a scoop of ice cream for the little one would be no problem. We were wrong. The waitress took our order at the hatch but promptly came back from the kitchen to say she had been told no and ice cream could only be serve as part of a pudding. A single scoop of ice cream was not allowed to be sold for a toddlers enjoyment!! I have never experienced such contempt for a young child who ended up in tears!! The crisps and juice he got instead were no compensation!! Will never come here again!!"

"Was visiting family in the area and chose this from the reviews and location. We was not disappointed owner was very accommodating and helpful and all his staff we engaged with were great fun and made the evening very enjoyable indeed. On top of this the food was on point and all the party enjoyed the choices they made. Overall a fabulous night and reasonably priced as well . When back in the are again Will definitely pay Mojo’s another visit.."

"Just a token vegan menu. 2 appetizers; Soup or salad. Head; Risotto (plant based food has moved on this Risotto! Or thai veg Curry. dessert; Chocolate Fudge Cake or Fruit Sorbet I had the Thai Veg Curry so was watery, tasteless and lack of vegetables. The chocolate cake came in small places and was fine."

"I had booked a table for a late birthday meal for my older mother. When we arrived, we got one table really fast, although when other customers came, it was quite cold where we were sitting. the waitresses were very well asked if we had everything we wanted. the only thing I could say needs attention when booking the table there was a time span of 5:30 to 7:30, at the arrival we have there at 5:45 and got a look and comment about we had booked 5:30 but the staff was pleasant enough."
