"Some selected items are vegan, but good luck trying to enjoy all the vegan desserts: there is only one option (damped longan with cocoa cake), and it was Mediocre best. I enjoy the vegan lahmacun that reminded me of my trip to Istanbul before I went vegan. Most of their dishes are ovo-lacto-vegetarian. You also have gluten-free options. If you look at the menu, everything is without EM or M marking or just with a G vegan. Portion sizes felt small while prices seemed high. Wouldn't return."

"Excellent quality of steak as I expected. Given aunt a treat for a good lunch, we chose Ruth's Chris as she has never been to such place. It is also our first time to visit Taichung branch even though we visited Taipei many time. The inside was high ceiling and can look far if you sit next to the windows. Our waitress Amy provided the excellent work and made us enjoying the whole time. Will definitely come back again!"

"It is really the challenge to find vegan brot in taiwan: butter, milk, eggs, honey and even milk powder is often used. but at fortunate coffee I can be sure that what I get is a clean brot. they are currently baking on Wednesday and selling for the week from Thursday. I have the coffee and chocolate bread (NT$60) that was the perfect size for someone who lives alone. the staff recommended that I cut home, and freeze it to ferment the brot from the continuation. reheating was so easy to take a disc out of the freezer and scattered it for a few minutes. I enjoyed every disc with a nut butter and some cocoa butter. I look forward to tasting their other brote!"

"Was here on a last trip to Taiwan, and here is my Phillipe Paris Lounge restaurant review for HappyCow. This restaurant is located in an attractive building right in front of the Taichung Science Museum. Fine dining atmosphere, white tablecloth and everything. Food is, of course, slow. We chose everything you can eat salad bar with our meal (it is more expensive in this way, but we did not know until we had already started eating cheaper set of meal price if you choose to have ONE salad plate instead of everything you can eat). The salad bar is vegan friendly and has some types of sprouts plus salad, bread and fruit. Many regular menu items contain milk as this is French cooking, so vegans safe to ask. They were able to fulfill our vegan wishes and propose things we could eat. Amidious, but an interesting experience if you don't mind spluring on food."

"It's nice to find some totally vegan restaurants and know that you can order anything! I had pumpkin soup, homemade bread and a rice dish, all for 300NTD. Oh, and an iced green tea! Even though the rice was fried, it still tasted healthy and not covered in oil etc. The atmosphere is also a highlight of this place, highly recommend"
