"We stopped in for a cuppa and a iced chocolate. They didn't mind at all that we didn't order a meal. We sat on the veranda and the view is stunning. A little place which offers peace and quiet. We would definitely come back for a meal. Take mozzie spray. Lovely listening to the birds calling."

"I was here recently for a special family function and was very much disappointed by the whole experience. The high tea was very disappointing as the food was not freshly made, it appeared to have been brought in (ie out of a packet), particularly for the price point. I had requested a special dietary meal, which they were unable to cater for in a high tea environment, even though they had been advised in good time and had assured us that it would not be a problem. The decoration was bulky and not suitable for an elegant high tea. I will definitely never be returning to this establishment again."

"We had a lovely Christmas lunch at Jacques Manor. The food variety was spot on and it really did hit the spot for a special Christmas feast. The whole family walked away with full tummies, but pleasantly so because the food was high quality and certainly not mass produced for processed. Everyone in our party walked away with only good things to say about the lunch - it was a very enjoyable experience with a lot of variety to suit everyone's preferences and needs."

"We were on the way to another cafe and drove almost by, but drove back when we could see that it was popular and thought we would try somewhere new. Many tables still and so glad we stayed. The food was delicious and a beautiful vista... from the deck. Could also eat for a place near the brook. Good choice of vegan options, including vegan cheese on burgers and pizzas. Beaut Service."
