"We booked a table for Saturday lunch and enjoyed a mixed meat and cheese platter as well as a board of foie gras. Great food and ambience, excellent service and fair prices. This business deserves your support and you won’t be disappointed. We understand that they do wine tastings too. You can choose a bottle from their shelves and enjoy it there for the shelf price plus £4.50 corkage. We will definitely be back!!!"

"Clean table, service was good albeit quite a wait for food (busy Sat night). Ordered a chicken wrap and chicken burger. The chicken wrap is exactly like Chicoland when this restaurant first opened they offered one of the better wraps in town and was to a Nandos standard however now its gone downhill to the horrid Chicoland standard The chicken burger was good (comes in a ciabbata square bun)"

"Very nice food, me and my wife attended on a Saturday afternoon, couldn't fault any of the food and left happy, but slightly out of pocket. Might not afford a family visit, two mains, two starters, coke and sparkling water and one desert, £69. But I would still pay for good food and would go again."

"A huge disappointment. The place was almost empty apart from one old man at the bar with his even older spaniel. After about five minutes, a man in a t shirt with staff on he back appeared and said Yes? We asked about lunch and were told it was being served Pick up a menu as you go through . It was tipping down outside or we would have left then, but we risked it. Every single thing on the menu was obviously microwaved, and there was no smell of food, no welcome, no chef or other staff unless you count the chap who switched the microwave on and off,no other customers except four bikers who only ate vast quantities of chips,and when our (completely under cooked) whitebait arrived it wasn 't even hot. We were both ill afterwards, This has been for years and years the most wonderful pub and restaurant, our go to place for cosseting and comfort, and it was my husband 's 80th birthday. If you are anther former regular, we would urge you to think again."

"Would not recommend this place at all these days. They used to be great, sending out great quality curries that were really filling. Over the past few months things have really taken a slide. The last three times I’ve ordered from them, the curry has been just. Pot of oil and a few shreds of chicken. Pretty much no actual sauce. I don’t know if they just take a bit of left over sauce from the day before and ‘rehydrate it’ with a boat load of oil and call that a good job or if they are just sending out oil in general. But after the first and second time it arriving like that I thought maybe they had a temp chef in who was doing it wrong. But on the third time of a dopiaza turning up just a pot of oil and chicken I’ve had to resign myself to the fact this place has just gone downhill and are sending out any old tat. Gave them the benefit of the doubt by ordering terrible curries three times but they’ve proven it’s not going to go back to how it was . Learn from my mistakes and don’t order here."

"We bought mom membership for her birthday and booked the Garden Restaurant Lunch Menu for 2, we had such a memorable time, EVERY member of staff took the time to come over and wish her happy birthday, we had the seafood linguine and minted lamb and they were both mouth-wateringly tasty, representing good value for money. Whilst I only took photos of the deserts I would throughly recommend, and know the annual pass won’t be the only reason. Thank you all for a lovely afternoon …. Misc. Sadly you cannot leave a tip on credit card which is a shame as we would have left more than the cash we had available"

"Long queue, cheap tasting coffee. A very basic Waitrose cafe, nothing special. Only one vegan option on the entire menu, which was very embarrassing, as I had told my friend that the website said they had vegan options plural at least!!"
