"Me and my girlfriend fell for this classic tourist trap. It is located at the edge of the beautiful lake of Titisee. Witch a nice balcony it has a good view over the lake. We sat down and immediately we noticed how irritated and on...edge the staff was. Every question was one to many and they were severely lacking in manners. Responding with: What? or just a Hmmm? The food was horrible. I ordered the black forest brisket, but what i got was a chewy piece of rubber, this thing was a pure disgrace and shouldn't be called a brisket at all and honestly is the worst piece of meat i have ever eaten in a restaurant. The vegetables where overcooked just as the meat. My girlfriend had the salmon pasta and compared it to a supermarket microwave pasta. No flavor and chewy frozen salmon. It was edible but not worth paying euro for. Of course this was to be expected when we got our food only minutes after we ordered it Neither me nor my girlfriend finished the food. When the waiter came to take the plates he asked if it was good, i told him the meat was chewy and badly prepared. The waiter then proceeded to do...... absolutely nothing. Left the place with the feeling i just got robbed, never again Ps: this experience was so bad i made a trip advisor account just to warn people of this shameless tourist trap"

"Had been to this restaurant on the way from Neuchwanstein castle to hotel. The restaurant has a real homely feel with pictures of the owner around the resturant. Staff are able to speak decent English. The food was tasted homemade too and the service was...wonderful. They had some good vegetarian options!! We had ordered for tomato soup , garlic bread, Bruschetta and arabiatta pasta..a thumbs up to each and every item!! Definitely recommend."
