"If you read the reviews for Tobermory, it is hard to choose a restaurant because the reviews are all so dodgy. Our airBNB owner recommended The Princess and the patio looked nice so we decided to give it a try. Our server was lovely and the food was good. My husband enjoyed his whitefish very much (it should have come with some sort of vegetable). It’s a bit overpriced, but a solid choice."

"We spent days in Tobermory and ordered take out pizza twice, ate supper once and lunch once at the Princess Restaurant, it was great each time! Very busy at peak times. Our waiter (we had same fella both times we ate in) was super!...Bar tender we dealt with for our pizza take outs was very friendly. Food is awesome, prices are reasonable, patio view of harbour and great hard working staff! We will definitely be back! Cheers The Cyr family"

"I have been to tobermory for several years and due to having a limited number of restaurants to choose from i was reluctant to try food off of a food truck. I am so happy i did because my expectations were highly exceeded. The fish is real white fish thats not too breaded and not greasy. You can actually taste the fish unlike some places where the amount of bread on top covers the fish so much that you cant taste it. Also a husband and a wife run it and they are extremely friendly i also learned that they make their own tartar sauce and it tastes amazing. The portion size was big and the price was decent."

"This place is open early and is central in the harbour. if you are looking for a decent breakfast and you need a quick bite before catching a boat tour, this location will provide the service is fast and friendly. we had omelette and French toast that were good."

"We came here mostly because their patio was dog-friendly. My husband had the grilled cheese and tomato soup, both of which he quite liked. I ordered a salad and Mac & cheese. The salad was good. Unfortunately, the Mac & cheese was bland. However, despite that and the cost of our meal (tourist prices), our overall experience was good (mostly due to our friendly waitress)."

"A must visit place in Tobermory. If you're having a craving for some chocolate try their chocolate or raspberry chocolate pastries. My favorite is definitely the cherry vanilla pastry. The flavors just explode in your mouth and the pastry is done just right. Their egg sandwiches are perfect for a hot summer lunch. Visited 2 days in a row and both days got their chocolate donuts. They are small with filling and the kids love them. They have just enough chocolate to satisfy cravings without giving a sugar high. Their croissants are light and buttery and great for breakfast. I'd visit Tobermory just to visit this place. The owner is a very friendly and sweet person. Must be because of all the sweet stuff she gets to make. Taking some home with us."

"Pros: Terrace is very nice, shaded, beautiful view service was good, did not have to wait too long for food (although the table was not cleaned CONS: salad was about half the size what it should be like a main meal rice dish had something in it (canned mushrooms? that was definitely about the best before the date pasta had not asked any taste veggie burgers to have it nothing spicy and the Patty itself was quite sharp, should have told us if we recommend Don?t"
