"The complete dining experience. The food is superb and you are so well looked after. The owner will suggest dishes depending on your taste and bring samples of sauce to ensure it’s to your liking. Easy to see why they have won awards for so many years running. We had mango chicken and beef madras delicious. Can’t wait till our next visit. "Layout and decor are typical of most pubs and pricing was good. I took up the option of a Guinness pie and my wife the beef roast of the day. My wife was really pleased with her choice and I can honestly say the pie was outstanding, the pastry was perfect, meat chunks in a gravy of good consistency and taste. Topped with peas that could perhaps have been livened up with a splash of vinegar it was a simple meal but so tasty it was disappointing when the plate was empty. Paired with a glass of Pepperjack Shiraz it was an absolute steal at a touch under $25 for both!, if we lived in Toowoomba we would be there often trying out other items on the menu but doubt if anything could pass “the Pie”."
