"Good food, good drinks, friendly staff, but the furniture in the restaurant must have an upgrade. Remember CHECK and CHECK again your order after you get your food / drink, especially if you drive thru, you just forget to give your complete order back to the restaurant and complain about it."

"Really cozy place with homemade local dishes. Tgey also has live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Very recommended. We ate a delicious lunch with freshly baked bread."

"More interesting place to eat with a large environment. bar has lit racks of ghosts artistic. next to a restaurant it is also a microbrauerei brew it own beer and distill gin and other spirituoses. it seems that many people go there to eat the drink as much as that we were not out of order to pay £9 for a beer, so hard with the free water! we thought that would be in order, the Parma ham pizza had not much to drink but tons rocket. similar was the lasagne good, but not exceptional (value of 5 stars). I think the free bread butter that came with the meal was the best!"

"I am vegan and unfortunately they don't offer vegan bread but they wrapped the vegetar burger in lettuce for me and it tasted AMAZING! Recommend everyone to try it, vegan or not"

"Amazing. The best cappuccino I had in Trondheim and also the best cake (almond, with yellow topping). The room is also beautiful, with books and art on the walls. The staff was friendly. Perfection in a coffee shop."

"Kompis Lade is my local hangout. My wife and I eat there almost every week because it is located near my home, grocery store, post office, flower shoppe, and newstand. There is not much I can add to what has already been written. The food is consistently very good and reasonably priced. Service is EXCELLENT and the staff treat us like VIPs, especially accommodating special orders, substitutions, and getting our food out fast. Ambience is good especially outdoors in summer, but we have a favourite corner table inside. Everything on the menu is good. Burgers. Pizzas. Onion rings. Shakes, outstanding shakes. Great drink selection. They can substitute beef for chicken or veg without a hassle. I like to order my old favourite off the menu items, no problem. The pizzas are artisan and rival some of the best pizzerias in all Trondheim. There is always a special also, worth a try if you want something different. One thing that I can add, which adds value IMO, is it is one of the uncommon restaurants in Norway with intrinsic, inclusive, FREE parking, because it is part of an arcade mall. We usually walk, bicycle, or ride the bus to Kompis (Ladegården bussholdeplass) but it is not a hassle or big extra expense to drive."
