"I was on a one-year order in Zurich and this restaurant was highly recommended. It was (and is) my favorite place for carving. Food and service were always excellent. If you go there in autumn, you should be sure to have the benefits of its wild menu, where a number of Venison dishes are offered, all excellent. If I'm in Switzerland, there's a must for me."

"Despite the mediocre reviews, we found this busy lakeside restaurant to be an excellent choice for lunch on a nice sunny day. It's close to the landing point for the round the lake boats and has a nice friendly 'buzzy' atmosphere.Aperol Spritzes were perfect. Large bowls of mussels in a slightly spicy tomato sauce were excellent. Pizzas were generous and very tasty. Overall, was the best value meal we ate during our last visit to the Zurich area. Service was a little slow but they were very busy and we didn't mind the wait as the ambience was very pleasant. We'll definitely eat there again on our next Zurich visit."

"I have been there a few time and can highly recommend. Best Cordon bleu I have ever had. Steak Tartar is excellent. The outside terrace is very nice in summer. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is casual and decoration is Swiss traditional."

"So for a little reunion my partner and his friend and his wife made a reservation at this establishment. Apparently it;s their favourite steakhouse in Zurich vicinity, The restaurant sits on a beautiful spot next to a little castle/ mansion. The view from the terrace...was stunning. But it was cold mid-September's eve, so outdoor seating is out of question. All 4 of us ordered different cut of meat and sauces. All satisfied and maybe a little regret on my part for ordering the smallest cut, mainly because i am a slow eater, really really slow, but otherwise everyone was happy. The service is prompt and efficient. Our waiter speaks both German and English, so no problem there, either. Portion was generous and tasteful, we had to forgo the dessert for coffee. Will definitely refer to friends to try it if they happened to be in Uster, for some reason :"

"My wife and me made a stop here on the way to some friends, got a great apfelstrudel, wonderful latte and a great cheese sandwich. Sadly we got there a bit too late for their buffet but it did look great."
