"This was just a normal place too eat, would we eat here again; no. Service was mediocre there was so many children in the place that it made it hard to hear the other person speaking too you. When they did a Birthday song they played the music so loud it was too much in a restaurant. The bathroom looked like it had not been touched in hours, perhaps all afternoon, no toilet paper in any of the stalls."

"As a family have been few times. Had chicken caeser salad.....not good for £10.00 chicken pieces, bland salad, 3 crouton pieces and small slice of bacon! We will not go back"

"Excellent eating, large generous portions. I had a Turkish pizza as an appetizer that was huge. the Adana grill was delicious as my main served with rice, salat, pitta, delicious sauces and grilled vegetables. try the efes beer, go well with the kitchen. the service was super warm and friendly, helpful, informatiw, without being too intrusive. would recommend this place. they will soon expand into the next door space to open a separate Turkish pizza place should be good."

"I live a short walk away and have been keen to visit for a while finally managed to visit in early Jan (on a quiet Monday night) and enjoyed every second of it. Olives and garlic bread to start with, followed by spaghetti carbonara for my partner and pizza (with aubergine, sun dried tomato and extra pepperoni) for myself both lovingly created and very tasty. All followed by a superlative tiramisu. Attentive, personal service. Excellent food. 5 min walk from home. Sheer bliss."

"Have been going here for years with my family or ordering takeaway... It is the best curry in chingford, however tonight we left without eating because it has gone down hill... Only 2 waiters and all they cared about is the christmas party. Waited 30 mins to order drinks and they even asked us if we wanted popodoms before hand... what resturant asks for starters before drinks... 40mins later after asking 3 times can we order and them telling us to wait we left... We will be back but hopefully they hire some more staff!"

"The salad was covered in two types of oil which I wasn't asked if I wanted (I'm almost glad the man forgot to pack it and forgot it), and the bread was also covered in some kind of spice and oil, yet again, I wasn't asked if I wanted this. If the meat hadn't tasted good, I'd have given this the lowest score. A recommendation to the staff. Ask the customer if they want things before you cover the food in it."

"This family run curry café and kebab shop has a few tables and really really is worth a visit! Having lived in East London all my life I know just about every type of curry, originating from each and every corner of the globe and this place is fab! It is Pakistani, I am told but unlike the grills and pakoras Aqsa seems to specialise in more slowly cooked curries, family recipes. It's unlicensed and halal and I like the way their traditions are respected. They cook really tasty food and fresh dishes are prepared daily. Last time I had crisp onion and potato bhajis with salad to start and then Lamb curry, black chick pea curry and nan freshly baked to order in the tandoor. Even with a side veggie dish, bhindi I think and Keera (semolina) pudding and a drink the whole bill came to about a tenner! £10. That's 3 courses! Plus a drink! If you live nearby please go there and support this small family business. Say Peter, the psychotherapist, sent you and they will laugh and , who knows, maybe even give you a little extra! It I go there once a week for home-cooked traditiuon Pakistani dishes"
