"Well-kept secret. I am continually disappointed with the quality of dining in the south west after moving to the area two years ago, but India Gate is an exception. It's worked its way into my routine, heading down there about every three weeks to get a chicken sagwala with na'an and steamed rice for about $25. A fairly standard price for what is, consistently, a rich, tasty, fulfilling meal. <br/ <br/ I have also tried the butter chicken, which is a little sweeter than I am used to, but is still of top quality. The only disappointing experience I have had was when the lamb was severely overcooked, leading to hard lumps floating in the curry sauce. But one bad experience out of about 20 is a pretty good return, especially for a Warrnambool restaurant.<br/ <br/ The one thing I cannot understand is how it is usually fairly empty on most nights. I feel the people of Warrnambool are missing out on high-quality food, with pleasant service in a warm setting. Perhaps it is hard to spot as people race around the Liebig Street corner. Perhaps it is because Indian cuisine has yet to establish itself in this part of regional Victoria. <br/ <br/ Highly recommended."

"After a long days work I ordered a pizza to be delivered less than a km away. Pizza came in a normal timely fashion. Although the pizza is normally awesome, I wasn’t extremely pleased as it was a little cold. I explained when I ordered over the phone that I needed a tax invoice for work. When it arrived there was no tax invoice. I rang a hour later to ask if they could send one through. Still hadn’t came. So I drove down to explain my frustration. I spoke with the owner Simon. He was very apologetic and understood what I needed. He also expressed that he was very sorry for the cold pizza and offered a replacement. As I had already ate it I said it wasn’t about the money as work pays for it. I really just needed the receipt for work. I explained I wasn’t prepared to buy from here again. This is what turned me around. Not only Simon was very professional but more than happy to accommodate. <br/>If you want a great pizza and great service, speak to Simon. Share my experience. Simon was very professional and has a customer that has had a bad experience but overall o have ordered from here many times and will again. A1 service from a great small business owner. Support local business and say hello to Simon. <br/>Cheers"

"Always great food and great service, have been here quite a few times and they’re consistently good. Today we tried another cafe in Warrnambool and ended up leaving after waiting 25 minutes not to even have our order taken, we understand when staff are busy but not even an order for coffee!?! Went to Pavilion and were eating our meal in less than 20mins. I find no matter how busy Pavilion are they always have time and patience for their customers. Food is consistently delicious"

"Twice in one weekend, went for dinner friday night, group of 8, very friendly happy to move tables to seat you inside or outside. had fish of the day, was freshly cooked NOT dried out so thumbs up from me. Went back sunday morning for breakfast, had banana pancakes was really yum, tho wasnot maple syrup, maybe corn syrup but was good anyway"
