"Were looking for a light, late lunch after walking along Beachy Head and Birling Gap, and had seen the Beehive on Google Maps, so we decided to give it a try. Not disappointed. We both ordered our favorite English toasted sandwich, cheese and chutney. My wife's was served on regular white bread while I opted for the sesame and poppyseed roll. We sat outside, in the shade, and in just a few minutes, we were served by the very friendly staff. We enjoyed lunch and our sandwiches so much we purchased a jar of the chutney to bring home. Serves as a reminder of a wonderful, warm, sunny lunchtime in May in southern England."

"Went to the Dorset Arms on the way back from Sheffield Park. Lovely welcome and good atmosphere. Limited menu and no lunch time items. However, I had the sole slips and my Husband had the barsteak. Couldn't believe how small and pretentous the servings were. No embleshment and nothing to write home about. My fish had little flavour. Over priced and not somewhere I would revisit as consequence. Much better value for money in other local pubs."

"We wanted a restaurant to take parents too local to Polegate and with little walking involved. After studying the menu we decided on Simply Seafood in Westham and it was perfect. The restaurant is only open at certain times during the week and would be best to book. It is smallish but beautifully decorated with two different dining areas, the conservatory although we did eat there, overlooked a nicely kept garden. We had a mixture of dishes, Scallops, Prawns, Goats cheese, Gunard, Dover Sole and Steak all cooked to perfection and presented nicely. The staff were attentive but not intrusive to our conversations. We would thoroughly recommend this lovely eatery to others."

"Faultless. Best coffee in Crowborough by a mile, great food, friendly staff and atmosphere. Breakfast, hot lunch, sandwiches and amazing cakes. Closes at 2pm but well worth seeking out if you're remotely in the area. Right next to Crowborough train station too."

"Birthday family meal ruined. We ordered for 7 people through Just Eat at 5pm for delivery at 7.30 pm which you would think be enough time for them to get the delivery to us being 10 minutes away. 7.30 came and went so we called them and they assured us it would be with us soon. An hour later still nothing...we called again to be told it would be here soon. Still nothing. After a further call they said the delivery had been sent to the wrong address and that they would go and collect it from this address and redeliver to us! This was obviously a lie and totally unacceptable anyway. In the end after 2 hours we had to drive to the restaurant to collect it ourselves. On arrival home the food was barely warm...the half tandoori chicken was in fact a chicken leg which didn't look properly cooked so we couldn't eat it. When we asked for a refund Just Eat would only offer a third of the cost back as the food was cold. And the restaurant won't give us anything back themselves. So all in all this was a terrible experience. We were recommended this restaurant by friends so this was our first and last experience at this restaurant."

"Visited with friends and found the place to be really beautiful, so much character with all the nooks, cranes, and decor. I could have just sat there and enjoyed the inside. Food was well prepared and tasted good. Would go back again."

"Absolutely great curry. Called up, asked for something mild as my toddler is really enjoying curry these days. They delivered a really lovely tikka bhuna and included some naan bread. Kiddo loved it. Food really fresh and cooked with great blends. Definitely ordering here again!"
