"Lovely place, unfortunately the food really let it down, there were around 10 people eating in our party and the majority of us were disappointed with the food, a couple of us sent food back as it was dried up or cooked too long. Portions weren’t great for the price they charge, over £6 for a chocolate sundae which was basically 3 scoops of ice cream with a bit of chocolate sauce in a gin glass…won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend"

"I visited on a very cold afternoon for a coffee. Delicious coffee however i feel I have to make the following observations. Firstly, a family when entering the cafe were told it was closed however the waitress continued to serve a couple of customers with further coffee and cake about 30 minutes later. One of the waitresses due to finish a shift was in the food preparation area brushing her hair not good. Thirdly, I asked where the toilet was and was given directions only to be then told that it wasn't working, I'm not sure I would be keen to return to this cafe. With regards to the hair brushing this is a basic hygiene issue."

"Ordered a takeaway for 2. Arrived fairly quickly but was freezing cold and missing chips. Contacted the shop to ask for a refund and told by the owner that "the food couldn 't be cold because he made it and delivered it himself ' Really disappointing and a waste of money as food not edible. Won 't order again as there is an issue each time we do with incomplete or incorrect orders"

"Cafe was excellent lovely well presented and cooked food. The garden centre is smaller than it used to be and to be honest looked a bit neglected. Plants were wilting weeds everywhere including around the bags of compost in the car park. I am sorry but wouldn't really come here to buy plants but definitely will for something to eat. Perhaps if they changed the range of plants they sell to cheap £4 or £5 plants for people to put in pots and even sold pots already filled they may do a lot more turnover"
