"We had a few hours to fill in between doctors appointments and went wandering to find a place for lunch. We were drawn to the Essence Cafe and Catering across from PA Hospital because of the banks of greenery around it. What a great choice it turned out to be as the menu was broad enough to meet all requirements without being too large to be valid. The choices we made were all delicious and beautifully served by very pleasant staff, who checked on our needs and made sure we were happy. A great place to spend an hour or two"

"We are hitting the breakfast jackpots recently. Found little gem online from a food blog and was not disappointed. The food is really high quality, delicious and prepared for coeliacs very impressed. The staff have mastered easy going and friendly with extreme attentiveness and it was a lovely experience. Great coffee too. Easy parking and very well priced. Will return."

"Great food.  Great coffee and hot chocolates (my favourite).  Great people.  What more could you ask for in your morning coffee run!  The story behind Lola is beautiful and you should ask the staff to tell you all about it and the passion that goes into making Lola, Lola."

"Coffee at the Gabba is a cosy little breakfast place that's run by some great people. Make your order, grab a paper or a book, sit down watch some news have a chat with the owners. Then the food comes out and I must say they're definitely the largest portions of most breakfast places in Brisbane, especially the eggs benedict which is actually really good here. The coffee here is good too. All round it's just very good value for money."

"I am a regular at D'Ago .  The kebabs are quite nice, but the pizzas aren't to my liking.  I've found that the kebabs are best when they've had a chance to brown up a good bit before being sliced.  Friendly staff."

"Since my earliest memories of the Gabba, I could always remember my parents driving me past and being curious about the shop with the Eiffel tower decorating the outside of it. Having maintained my curiosity throughout the years, it's long been top of my list for date night spots. I can't believe it's taken me so long to make my way there, but I was super excited to go with Adam last week for our mid week date night."

"Perfectly positioned within the inner-central part of town, just a bit away from a residential area, right next to not only the Pacific Highway, but also the south-east busway, and the south-east freeway bikeway, and right next to a small Seventh Day Adventist Church, it is safe to say that Coffee Nature definitely has an accessibility to it that already puts it in an advantageous position. Better yet, it is down the bottom of some residential apartments itself. Serving coffee in a setting and style not unlike what could be found in Market Square, there is definitely something admirable to takeaway from its outlay, and product. Beforehand, my house mate/dining buddy tried to go here, but patience and being persistent paid off because eventually it was tried out. And from trying it, this is a place that has a lot of potential. <br> <br> After getting a good breakfast out, there was still some unfinished business to attend to. That was to get a coffee, since there was no... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"

"Wow! since my last review here it is over three years ago. drove past and found a practical parking so it revisited for a cup coffee this morning. service is consistently good and thank you for the lady who served me this morning with their professional setting. coffee came with beautiful latte style and only spot-on strength for my palate. vibe is cozy with the last junk. this restaurant deserves my recommendation. Rating 3.5/5 april 22, 2016 review 3.5/5 I wanted to explore one of the caffes, but it was the day, so I drove around woolloongabba and discovered this place. it was early in the morning, so I managed to get a parking space in the accommodation. "The attitude of the waiter tonight was appalling. He first missed our order (two meals) for my elderly parents. After I reminded him, he said, they are two minutes away. Then, he took probably another&nbsp;10 minutes to return&nbsp;to me to ask me what&nbsp;meals were missing. &nbsp; It was extremely clear that he missed the order without acknowledging that. After that, we waited for another 20 minutes (by this time everyone else nearly finished the meals). <br> <br> He&nbsp;then delivered the meals without&nbsp;any intention to apologise.&nbsp;<br> I confronted him by asking&nbsp;him he missed the order<br> The waiter: "tonight, it was really hard to take orders in such a noisy environment, so I missed the order (he was implying it was out fault, we were all in the function room.)"<br> Me: "my dad&nbsp;has been extremely upset". <br> The waiter: "I will get you the manager"<br> Me:&nbsp;"you&nbsp;could have just apologised"<br> The waiter: "I do apologise, it was just too hard to get the orders"...<br> <br> How unprofessional??
