"If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would! The restaurant has a relaxed and cosy vibe. Service was extremely friendly, and went above and beyond. The portion sizes are quite large and look larger in real life than some of the pictures. Even without zomato gold the restaurant is really reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. Would come here everyday, that’s how good it was!"

"Fantastic. Tonight we stopped in for just starters and wine Lamb bites were tender, Potato Pakura has a crispy outer and savoury soft inside and the Lentil Fritters were a complete delicious surprise a slight sweet and slightly savoury cold dish. A modern and fresh approach to Indian inspired."

"Good views of the harbour. Staff were friendly. Food was good. For entrée, we had the calamari and bread and dips. Both were tasty but portions seemed small. For mains, we had the scotch steak and lamb shanks. Steak was cooked perfectly. Lamb shanks were delicious. Meat just melted away. Was awfully quiet for a Saturday night. Not sure why. Food was good! Maybe because of the price?"

"Auckland is in no shortage of great brunch spots so when choosing a place, it's a sin to pick somewhere that isn't going to satisfy your egg craving on a Saturday morning. <br/ <br/ Thank you Bread and Butter for being there when I need it the most. Came in around 11am on the Sunday and it was busy but not so much so that we had to wait around more than 5 min for a table. The service was super friendly and cheerful and the coffees were excellent. Ordered the Bakers Breakfast and honestly, it was a revelation. Chuck a bit of hollandaise sauce on the side and you have yourself an eggs benny on steroids. A well deserved 10/10."

"We ordered the parma pizza and the spaghetti. The pizza came out very fast and was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. The spaghetti was not tomato based, which was quite surprising, however the flavours were rich and delicious. It 's hard to explain in words how good the food was here, and even harder to go back to 'normal ' pizza. The service was also excellent, and it was nice that the whole kitchen is in view of the diners. I would recommend booking as the restaurant gets very full."

"This was handsdown the most amazing food i have possibly ever had in auckland. the best experience in a resturant staff were amazing kind, welcoming, understanding and patient. service was fast and up to the highest standard. the prices were set 'low ' considering how amazing the food was and how high quality the ingredients used clearly were. the fries, bread, brisket, salmon... everything was gorgeous, melt in the mouth and so so so good. our waitress accidentally forgot to enter one of our drinks onto our order and ever so patiently and understandingly brought the drink in a matter of minutes. such a warm and welcoming area with literally the highest quality of food possible. simple is really the best. big respect to everyone that has cultivated what goes into The Culpeper."

"I hate Zomato, but I downloaded the app just so I could help you all know how totally worth a visit this place is (my bf is younger than me and apparently Zomato is the app to use, and now that I've downloaded it I'm quietly impressed, but I digress).<br/ <br/ I made a booking for 10 people, and we were seated at a table in the front, separate from the main seating area, which meant that our boisterousness (aka pre-drinking) didn't unduly impact on the the other guests. <br/ <br/ Food: On the small side, but filling, and tasty. $35-45 for entree main, can't complain.<br/ <br/ Service: If this was America I would have tipped but not felt salty about it. Attentive but not over-attentive, they nailed it.<br/ <br/ Wine: Actual decent wine for $40-50ish a bottle.<br/ <br/ Summary: Whoever owns this place has done a great job of balancing price with great service and tasty, affordable food. I can't speak highly enough about the staff on the night we visited (26 Oct), thank you to them, the chef and anyone else who played a part in our dining experience."

"Great ambiance and great food ! Recommend coming here with friends to chill and yarn, order appetizers with friends and share instead of coming here for a meal. The only thing I was not a fan was the small tight tables, hence recommend coming here for snack food lounge experience over an actual meal."
