"We had high hopes for our visit after hearing how great your evening service was, so chose to have our wedding anniversary breakfast here. Unfortunately, we were met with disappointment. When we entered, we were greeted and shown to an empty table so it was great that we didn’t have to book. However, it all went downhill from there. My husband asked for a pot of tea and was brought just a cup of tea. When this was queried, we were told the pot of tea was only available if ordering unlimited tea. You’ll find that I have been charged for unlimited tea, so I’m not quite sure why we didn’t receive this. We also placed our order for food and were waiting around 40 minutes for our breakfast, only for the order to be incorrect. We both ordered fried eggs, but poached eggs were what was served. When this was raised with the waitress, she proceeded to speak over me and despite offering to bring us a replacement, I was not happy to accept this as we would have been facing a further wait, and we were very hungry at this point. The food in general was tasteless and not at all pleasant. There is no longer the option to self-serve continental breakfast which was much appreciated when facing a wait for hot food in the past. Overall, the food was poor and the customer service even worse. I would not be keen to return nor recommend to anyone else."

"Service was poor they asked us to move once we were seated! Ordered a mix grill but missing watercress (not a big deal but I do like the stuff) they had run out but failed to mention it in on placing the order, no apology or offering of something else like coleslaw. No Ale/bitter/ only Lager since they have revamped. Won't be rushing back."
