"On Sunday morning it went to the breakfast and the coffee. waiting outside on the sign where it said: "Please wait here to sit" had two couple jumping ahead and I stopped for about minutes, several employees went to take coffee, but no one knew me at all and no coffee or breakfast. with my feet praised. do not go back and as a businessman these young employees really need some training! much luck."

"Very reasonably price with good coffee and cakes in a quiet location just off the main street. We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday morning tea and would love to come back and try the breakfast/lunch menu, but we'll have to leave that to our son and...partner who plan to do just that. Friendly, helpful and honest staff (an overcharge was identified by the waitress who returned it with apologies). We'll be sure to drop in again on our next interstate visit to Brisbane."

"Visited Blue Poppy yesterday for the first time, it was so good I came back today.<br/>Excellent service, yummy food, good coffee and very well priced. Cheaper than a lot of other cafes I've visited for brekky lately.<br/>Food was hot and delicious both times and came out very quickly. Even this morning at 9:30 on a Saturday when they were super busy food and coffee was out in record time."

"We arrived at peak time on Sunday for breakfast and it was busy. Service was brilliant, they advised as we sat down it was minimum 40 minute wait on food and we were happy to sit with coffee and wait.Breakfast itself was incredibly tasty and fresh.Coffee was great and the price for a couple was great. We will be back."

"The food here is fresh of good quality, but expect to pay the price. I had the avocado which came with a beautiful sweet sour jam which tied in the beautifully herbed avocado on the corn bread. The corn bread was fluffy delicious. Coffee was well done too, beautifully presented with good strength"

"We arrived in Brisbane in December 2012. We hadn't much on the plane from an itinerary change that had us fly from Fiji the next day. We were pretty hungry so we saw the spoon counter and decided to try it out. Very good strawberry pancakes with ice cream scoop. There is lots of selection in the counter ranging from sandwiches, pastries, omelettes, salads, etc. Staff was friendly. Food and service was good."
