"This is my second time at this restaurant, and while the food is good, the nickle and diming is a bit much. I'm a tea drinker, if I ask for more hot water there's no issue. When I asked for a new tea bag, then I'm charged for a new tea. If I had been informed before this occurred that's one thing. That didn't happen. It's the principle of it, and in addition they add 3% to the bill as a card charge. Assuming you are going to pay that way. Not going to return."

"Wonderful brunch at Savanna! The food was yummy, the atmosphere laid back, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The prices are a bit more expensive but the portions were good and the smoothies were delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping in,we enjoyed a leisurely morning and didn?t feel rushed by the staff to get in and out which was appreciated."

"Update from 07/26/2021 Today's Visit 09/26/21 Excellent Customer Service Delicious Food! This review is an update from a pervious review I gave two months ago. We were invited by the restaurant owners to comeback for a complementary meal on the house. My husband and I appreciate that Chicago Waffles West Loop wanted to take the opportunity to correct the mistake from our first visit. Our experience this time around was wonderful and I have nothing but positive comments. The owners reached out to us via email with their sincerest apologies about our first visit and wanted to make it up to us. They invited us back. My husband and I went on a Sunday afternoon, we had a reservation for 1pm. We were greeted by the owner. We were seated in a wonderful table in a cozy area. I ordered the Cheddar Waffles and Beef Brisket with Mimosa. My husband ordered the Country Fried Chicken with Berry Mojito. The beef brisket was tender, juicy, well seasoned, the waffles were light and fluffy on the inside while golden crispy brown on the outside. I enjoyed every bite. My husband says his chicken was tender and juicy, his mojito was delicious blended well, smooth, just right. The owners also provided us with a complementary waffle flight of chocolate, red velvet, green tea, and buttermilk waffles to go. Overall this experience was great. I highly recommend Chicago Waffles West Loop. Its a great breakfast or brunch location for family, friends, dates, etc."

"They have a vegan section on the menu - unfortunately it is mixed with the gluten-free and it is hard to know what is just vegan or simply gluten-free. I recommend that you separate this on the menu, so it is easier to know. the vegan pancakes are really good but I would recommend them!"
