"They have a “Plant-Powered Protein” section on their menu and vegan cheese as an option. The portions are quite small for the price, but it is nice to have multiple vegan options at one place in P&L. The food is pretty good overall; nothing I’d crave but somewhere I would go back to."

"Great place for high-energy sports watching. The DJ plays through commercial breaks and my friends and I always have a great time here to watch the chiefs or KU Basketball. It's almost always packed, so ready. I always get her fries, but I would also recommend her wings, buffalo chicken sandwich or her chicken nachos."

"This is my favorite place to get a steak dinner bar none. My wife and I try to make it here at least once a year. We would go more but do not care for the downtown area on Kansas City. The Majestic is one of the true highlights of the city though. If you like jazz music then try to get your reservation for the old speakeasy downstairs and enjoy the show as well as a properly cooked dinner. Their drink selection is always great too. It would truly be a sad day if this place ever closed."

"Stopped in today to catch up on emails and grab some coffee and I am so glad I did! Their red bone mocha is so good and I cannot wait to try all the other flavor options. Make sure to try their homemade pop tarts! I am new to coffee and they were so welcoming and walked through what I liked and obviously they did a great job!"

"Mattie's Foods is hands down the BEST in Kansas City! Since finding out my daughter has Alpha Gal Syndrome she has been severely restricted on what and where she can eat. Mattie's is a 100% vegan restaurant. No risk of exposure to mammalian meat or meat byproducts, cross contamination, or fumes from cooking meat. And ya'll!! This food was out of this world!!! Mattie's crew is the sweetest, too! They could tell how worried my daughter was to get sick and told her how what was in all the food and reassured her that she was in good hands. We will definitely be going back on our next trip to KC!"

"This is a great place. I?ve been there several times, but this time it was exceptional. I ordered food to go, but when I got there I discovered I picked the wrong location. Khalil, the manager was very understanding and helpful. He filled my order without me asking. I really felt dumb and will never forget his kindness and understanding. What a class act. Thank you.
