"San Diego has many great breakfast and brunches, but the Little Lion Cafe is one of my favorites. The Belgian waffles are the best I ever had. The texture and aromas are perfection. We also had the eggs Benedict with Crab Cakes and that was tasteful with large pieces of crab meat. The Belgian potatoes were beautiful and crispy. All we had was delicious. Be ready to wait when you arrive at peak hours 10 11AM, but you can always take a walk around Sunset Cliffs to happen some time."

"The food and coffee are very good here (orders a breakfast sandwich with sausage, order a cappuccino), but it is too expensive. The staff was nice too. This is a beautiful place to get a last-minute bite before your flight."

"Wow! Now these sweets mean business! If you’re looking for a sugar rush definitely stop here! The staff is even sweeter than the pastries! We saw one woman buying 9 peanut butter cookies… so obviously we needed to get some too. They’re definitely worth grabbing more than one!"

"This place is my absolute fave bc the freshness of donuts. Crispy in outside, delicious softness when you bite into it. The delightful sweet treat is a treat for both body mind!! I always go at night when Rose herself is working. She's a short little powerhouse of a Vietnamese woman. Oh!!! Sidenote!!! They offer genuine Vietnamese coffee so pass on Starbucks cruise here instead. My go-to donut is simple: chocolate twist. The fanciest donut you can get here is a maple bacon donut, which they don't always have. This is not one of those places where you can get a lavendar scone topped with lucky charms (for $7) so if that's your jam, I'd go elsewhere... This spot is great for basic bitches like me. Cheers!"

"So friendly and excellent service! On a Sunday and the lady, Kayla, served me and my friend Jacob. She even came out to make sure we take care of it while we were sitting! Their friendliness and generosity were only matched by their excellent service and I look forward to my next visit where I can enjoy a day of aquatic life, great food and wonderful people like Kayla."

"Fast and friendly service but be aware this is not a real coffee shop for coffee connoisseurs. They just do pour over using plastic containers for their hot water and customize your drinks with flavors and spices, and sugar. All the BPAs and plastic flavor goes into your coffee. They don't have an espresso bar. You cannot get a real espresso, latte or cappuccino here. I would not go here if you are looking for an espresso bar and real baristas. You can go here if you want a customized beverage with different coffee flavors. To each their own."

"Stopped by while driving through. Parking lot availability, and attached to a surf shop. Cute breezy indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the Tourmo Turkey and The Caprese sandwiches. Both were good, but mediocre. The Caprese was a bit bready and hard to savor the flavors within."
