"Love this place. As other reviewers have said, the food (particularly, for me, the egg sandwiches and muffins) and coffee are consistently very good. But the reason I keep going back, at least once every week from May through September is the vibe, which is very open and down-to-earth. The owner and staff are all very friendly, and from the first time I went in a couple of years ago, I felt very welcomed and comfortable. I don't do many ratings, but I couldn't recommend Ostara's more highly."

"Westside Market has been a staple of Cape May for as long as I can remember, you could always count on fresh meats with an actual butcher on hand, a great deli selection of meats, cheeses, and salads, hoagies, outstanding cheesesteaks and other favorites from the grill, and fresh baked goods including their brownies that I always had to grab one of. Not only that, they also carried a selection of grocery and convenience items and cold bottled drinks as well. Westside Market has always been a great little one stop market and grill that really takes you back to the old days, from the historic pictures and items on the walls to the historical feel of the building itself. More so than that though I always felt like there was more of an emphasis on quality rather than the quick hurry up lifestyle of the modern world. Westside wasn't meant to be a convenience store or a Wawa where you just rush in to grab a quick hoagie and a bag of chips and you're out. No, Westside is a place where you go when you want something made right with homemade quality and care in it, somewhere you take the time to look around or talk to other customers while you wait. I haven't yet been to Westside since the new owners took over but I hope they keep up the same quality and standards that Westside has had all these years. I'm willing to give them a fair try to find out, and their new menu has some pretty tasty looking items on it. I'll update this review once I've tried them out."

"It's a real gem for West Cape May. I remember the 60s coffee shops. It is the centre of the community. Everyone is always welcome. I don't know what we did without them."

"Wow. This has been my favorite coffee house for a while. I am biased since I can walk to it, but I can walk to a few and I choose to walk to Ostara's! Great coffee and muffins. Can't wait to be able to hang out there again cozy place with wonderful people!!! Nice art. Love the vibe. Keeping the community going online. THANKS!!!"
