"Syrup trap is an amazing and unique place to grab a quick and satisfying brunch. The staff and owner are very nice and love talking about their craft. They have perfected the waffle and make a mean latté as well. I had the “second breakfast” waffle which comes with Brie and prosciutto and it was delicious. Keep it up syrup trap!!"

"A place with a really welcoming vibe with asian chefs that do a solid fusion style thats both inspired and original. Brilliant bar and table service. Management are genuine progressives who want to do good for the community and staff and continuously engage it with compassion and understanding. A real gem in Gastown that deserves all the respect it gets and more."

"I have been to restaurants in many parts of the world and in Canada but never go in search good service and food. The waitress finished finished the evening by serving us coffee without spoons and never has this happened in my 25 years working in the tourism industry. Usually when mussels are served the first thing is that bread and butter has to be on the table but until we requested nothing was given. Tasteless food. Looked like the waitress was impressed by the big tip any way. I guess people pay for the view and not foe the food or service. Need to add that the bottle of wine tasted like vinegar."

"I really enjoy Mighty Bowl and have for years! Their smoothies bowls are delicious. However, for the past 3 or 4 times I have ordered, there always seems to be something missing from my bowl whether that be the protein, one of the vegetable ingredients, pesto topping, etc. I often order for takeout or delivery, so I do not realize ingredients are missing until too late. Again, I really love Mighty Bowl but have been frustrated with the service lately and being charged full price for bowls when I am frequently missing key components."

"I would recommend trying Wildfin not so much for the food but for the location and atmosphere. The food was just ok. We had the calamari for an app. It’s chunky like chicken strips and in a soft breading. Wasn’t a fan. Also has the ribeye sandwich and that was ok too. I would try something else if we end up there again."
