"The cafe was clean tidy and inviting. It was pretty busy when we walked in. The staff where not clearing the tables quickly enough. The girl behind the counter was polite and did her duties very well. The cook however was quite slow and didn’t know the table numbers. The mocha and sausage sandwiches where nice. Just a shame there isn’t more choice of hot food. The manager was busy stocking up the fridges behind the counter when he should have been leading his staff."

"I last reviewed The Kings Head a few years ago when it had changed hands and had gone down hill badly! I'm now delighted to report the current landlord has got the place back on its feet both as a pub and a restaurant. We had Sunday Lunch on 1st January and the food was nothing short of superb. The best roast beef I've had in many a year and the yorkshire and vegetables were beautifully prepared and imaginative. My wife's vegetarian option was lovely and she ate every last bit! The service was lovely, making us feel at ease, unrushed and well cared for. It was also great value. We will be back soon. It's so good to have our local back again. Thanks to all involved!"

"Hidden gem in Reindeer court in Worcester. Was supposed to be the hottest day of the year and so, of course, it did the British habit of raining all afternoon. So my wife, two children (both under 5) and I were drenched after going for...a river walk. We passed Hangar and thought to go in for just a coffee. When inside we were immediately seated at a table where we could easily fit a highchair. The manager came straight over with a pot of little toys for my boys to choose from, which was really appreciated. I then noticed that the table next to us were having really nice filo pastry thingys I later were told were called borek. I had to try it. I got my boys the children's hot dog, which had a chocolate broiche and pom bears and a drink with it. They loved it. My better half had a panini with a coffee and she was impressed. The borek had cheese and spinach in it and was to die for. It came with crisps and humus with a side salad. I will definitely be going back soon."

"My first ever visit to Cafe Afloat today.......if I’d read the reviews I would’ve ordered a bacon sandwich, but I’d opted for sausage caramelised red onion.....all I can say is phenomenal! I’ll definitely be visiting again now I’ve found this little gem"
