"The young lady waiting was very pleasant. The breaded mushrooms were still frozen and I bit into a mushroom ice cube. The older waitress came by and took the tip off of the table before we left. I hope the young lady got it."

"This Famous Dave's location in Appleton now has counter service. So we stayed too long and waited for a host to sit down before we found out for us. Not sure why it's counterfeit, but the staff thought it wasn't a big change. The service was decent after we sat because we didn't wait too long. The place has the usual Dave's charm, but it was almost empty at noon. Another difference to other places was the lack of blues music playing so the vibe suffered. The Cornbread Muffin and Slav were pretty great. The pommes were fine, but could have been hotter and crispy. The full crack of the ribs was very tasty overall, but an end of the rack was much overdue. I guess it was more of a Decent Dave's on Saturday we visited."

"Had the Mac and cheese bowl with brisket and it was amazing! Didn't even know this place existed until I went there with a co-worker. Loved it, great lunch! Great food at a reasonable price."
