"Only negative thing I can say is the food has always come out lukewarm, unfortunately. Great flavors, good service, and great moonshine drinks! A very cozy place to eat and drink at. The best is their jalapeño coleslaw. Yum!"

"Allow me tell you a true story about how this restaurant literally saved my life. We are going to journey back in time to the year 2017. I was on my way to work one morning when my car kept overheating. This was one of those “last straw” situations, the final drop in my bucket, just what I needed in order to spawn a complete meltdown. So here I am in a gas station parking lot, unable to drive my car, crying uncontrollably (as one does), full blown panic attack mode. After a quick phone call with my boyfriend, I began to calm down significantly. Got my head on straight and made those tedious phone calls to my insurance, etc. Fast forward a bit, the tow truck driver was a saint and at this point, my day began to turn around a bit. He drops me off at the auto body shop on the corner of Walnut Ave and Northwest Hwy. I sat in the shop’s waiting area for a while, when I decided to ask the manager, “Hey, do you know of any good places to eat around here?” He recommended Big Ange’s Eatery, said it was only a few blocks away and I wouldn’t regret it. Talk about incredible! I ordered a brisket sandwich with extra bbq on the side. The brisket was so flavorful and tender, the bread was buttery and soft. I couldn’t believe when I asked for a side of fries that what that actually meant was a WHOLE BAG of delicious fries. My day started off so terribly, and at this point I am laughing to myself for how I reacted earlier in the day. I mean, silver lining, how else would I have heard about this amazing restaurant? I wouldn’t have. And now I get to share Big Ange’s with the world. I have recommended this restaurant ever since that day in 2017. But how did Big Ange’s save my life, you ask? After a belly full of a delicious meal, I made my way back to the auto shop. To my surprise, there were police vehicles everywhere, fire trucks, and ambulances. Anxiety began to grip me yet again, and I start thinking, “Oh my god, what happened?! My car is in there! Did it catch fire? Did the building explode? What’s happening?!” All of these thoughts are racing through my brain at a million miles a minute. As I get closer to the shop, I see what all of the commotion is about there is a car sitting INSIDE the shop. This car jumped the curb, crashed through the brick and glass, and is now INSIDE the waiting area of the shop. Right where I was sitting not even half an hour earlier. The shop manager sees me approaching, his eyes wide and filled with a combination of shock and relief. He says to me, “You have no idea how happy I am to see you....if you hadn’t left to go eat, I don’t know what might have happened to you!” And there you have it. That’s the true story of how Big Ange’s Eatery saved my life."

"This place is highly recommended! Especially to those who have a big family and a bunch of friends who really love to hang out and bonding. The food here is unique, quality, and incredibly delicious. All of their food on the menu is really mouth-watering, freshly cooked, and phenomenal. Their portions here are so fair and good. Their serving is very creative. All of it is enjoyable and impressive. This place is full of quality and awesome foods. They have so many offers and deals that can surely satisfy your cravings. Their pricing is so affordable and fair. You can really buy and order anything you want from their menu without breaking your pockets. While eating such amazing food you can also save a lot at this spot. Porky’s BBQ is exceptional! Lots of people keep coming back again and again just to order and grab some of their quality food. Everything at this place is really enjoyable and affordable. Their staff is really kind, friendly, and professional. All of them are energetic and working so fast. They all know how to do their job properly. Also, they are so caring and they are really willing to help and assist the customers so right. Outstanding service. Very reliable and personable staff. This place never disappoints. Porky’s BBQ is really a hidden gem in this area of Arlington Heights. You all must visit this place if you are nearby the area. You will absolutely love everything they have on their menu. Porky’s BBQ is exceptional! I would really love to go back here again soon when I have some free time. "I loved this place!! I hadn't eaten dinner and didn't want to cook so decided to see what was open on a Monday night. Thankfully this place came up and seeing all the good comments made me feel like it was a solid choice. It certainly lived up to the precious experiences from y'all. I walked in and was immediately attended to. They were packed on this Monday night, and the staff was so apologetic for the wait, which was barely 5 minutes. Once I was seated, they gave me a complimentary rice cake ?? for having to wait. I found this so endearing, especially considering that a barely 5 minute wait is nothing compared to other wait times. It really set the mood and the appetizer was delicious and warm. The banchan came next and had green apple soju alongside it. Always a fan of the banchan and that they restock it if asked. I ordered the Korean army stew since I had seen some great reviews for it. And when it came out, I just knew it was going to be a great dinner. The stew was hot hot hot so waited a bit to start on it, but golly was it delicious with the right level of spice to clear all my nostrils and maybe even depression, and to combat the chilly night. Huge shout out to the waitress that attended me because she was always so nice and sweet, would check in with me at the right times, and having gone there by myself, made me feel so welcomed. Will definitely come back sooner than later!"

"Enjoyable night with friends and family. Good (safe) location with a convenient parking lot next door. Nice restaurant good food, live music (contemporary jazz musician) was very good and entertaining. After dinner we walked to an adjoining room to listen to a concert. Great evening!"

"I love Qdoba. Great food. Great place. However, the recipes changed since Covid...so the food is a little different...but not for the better... This particular location, the staff was super awesome. They were so great. They were kind, quick, andefficient. I didn't have any issues here. Would dine again! Oh, but it is over priced."
