"Only our second visit, but we were in the area, and I was tempted to see if the E&C Burger I'd had on my last visit was as brilliant as I'd remembered the first time. It most definitely was. Strange really, because I rarely order a burger in a pub/restaurant, but this one is well worth the trip. My wife had the Halloumi burger which she also really enjoyed. We were made to feel very welcome by the landlady and her staff, and went away feeling very full and satisfied. A shame you're not on our doorstep, but we will definitely be back, at least to try some of the other items on the menu."

"The restaurant is situated in the Yorkshire sculpture park which in itself is well worth a visit. There are several places to grab food within the park but this is the main restaurant. There were probably 6 or 7 options on the menu. All of which looked rather tempting. I had the rye sourdough with mushrooms and asparagus and it was very tasty indeed. Great service and food. I was also tempted by some cake in one of the smaller cafes and in this case there were also available sandwiches which were clearly labelled as vegan."

"Our first time at this great Pub. Nice to find a traditional Sunday roast with fresh vegetables, homemade Yorkshire puddings and proper gravy. In our party we had both the Roast Beef and the roast pork selections, both were excellent. We all cleared our plates and waited a short while before selecting “puddings” from a selection of traditional sweets! I recommend the Jam Rolly polly ! Great value for money and a refreshing change from “Chain” carveries and their frozen vegetables! They are busy so recommend advance booking!"

"8 friends met for coffee in our local cafe. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and serve delicious gluten and dairy free cakes and pies. They are community minded and host a knitting group who knit for various charities, and are a “Happy Cafe”. You are guaranteed a warm welcome in Cafe Creme. They also serve drinks to take away."

"A really nice and chilled atmosphere, we had eat there aswell as drinks and the food was well presented and delicious aswell as arrival in good time. the prices are also quite decent, I would definitely visit again for a series of food and a chilled evening with drinks!"

"Went in with friends at lunchtime and was pleasantly surprised at the range of hot and cold sandwiches on offer. We both had hot sandwiches and they hardly touched the sides. They were wrapped in tin foil contained in a paper bag. No tissues were offered. The staff were pleasant enough. There was seating so you could eat in. There was hot and cold drinks. Three complaints however one customer ordered a cold sandwich only to be told that they didn't have some of the ingredients, and staff couldn't take an order accurately as another customer ordered and was given the wrong sandwich which was remedied when they pointed this out."
