"Visit to Char'd steakhouse for the first time. It was a joy! The unique atmosphere stood out as one of Ipswich's best, and the diverse drink selection, including a variety of beers on tap, added to the satisfaction. Despite a minor critique about two undercooked T-bone steaks, the overall experience was fantastic. I'm looking forward to making Charred our regular spot. "We were so impressed by our meals from here, the last visits. I was also not in the converted dining room, it looks great and it was in desperate need of an update. The steaks are always cooked for perfection, the Korean chicken starter is for dying! Also the orange seasoning on the chips loved last night."

"Well we returned to ensure it was not a fluke we were at the Harvest a month or more i suppose now and like restaurants can have a bad night they can have the odd good night .... but.... the Harvest has certainly benefited for the changes that was needed and i am glad it has happened ... the new chef seems to have swept a new raft of changes to the menu which has re-enlivened the whole feel of the place... we noticed the addition of wonderful local produce now which is great as we live near salad/vege bowl of SEQ and businesses are mad if they dont use this wonderful .... the haloumi YUM YUM and Gnocci are fab dishes to share and start with ... Honestly i could not go past the chocolate brownie for dessert and others had the panna cotta... But the table sampled 3 of the mains and ended up sharing them with one another as we all claimed ours was the best ... we had the salmon; steak and I had to had the slow roasted brisket and we were totally thrilled with the fresh flavours... this restaurant is really good now and shows the difference a great chef makes . will be a regular go to place now as i heard they are now changing up the menus more regularly which means no time to get bored and the prospect of going more often to make sure you try the new things will be wonderful... oh and few restaurants i have been to in Ippy offer the wine suggestions but the Harvest does .... dont believe me about how good it is go and try it yourself..."

"If your planning on going ensure you have at least 1.5hrs spare. I have been here on numerous occasions with my partner and this is the average time spent on getting a 2 course meal. We have been seated before and it has taken them about 20mins to even come back to us to order entrees or beverages. It doesn't seem to matter what time in the afternoon evening when we turn up. Service is always slow or they are hovering over near the food pass, oblivious to there customers that they have just seated.Management need to either look at putting on more staff or before you seat people warn them it's going to be awhile. Not happy at all"
