"Came in here to eat with my dad. We both ordered cokes and were brought pepsi 's with no warning. No big deal. I ordered the pork loin sandwich but they were out of pork so I got hot wings with ranch and my father got the 1/3 lb burger. Our food comes out and I was informed they were out of ranch so enjoy the bleu cheese. Dad 's burger was a 1/4 lb maybe. So as we 're eating our subpar meal I asked the bartender if she could switch one of the tv 's from news to espn. I was informed We don 't have any sports channels right now ? I kind of expect to be screwed at an airport restaurant but I don 't expect it to be so blatant. I doubt this review will change anything since there 's no competition in the airport. It would have been more gratifying to flush $35 down the toilet."

"We have came here 8 times in a matter of about 6 months-1 year. The food has always been good. I wouldn 't say it 's the best bbq I 've ever had but it 's good for corpus restaurants. Now the reason I 'm leaving this review is the lack of supplies and the horrible management/service I have encountered while visiting Salty Oak. I had a sit down with the new Manager Mark last time I brought our family for a Mother 's Day lunch. I explained to him that even that time that I was there they were ALWAYS out of an item. Whether it be sweet tea, pickles macaroni, it 's multiple things. He told me that he would assure that this get brought to the owners attention and they would be stocked up. Well again today I brought my girlfriend to eat when we were going to go to Rudy 's since we live closer to Rudy 's but we went to Salty Oak because we had a good feeling about the new Manager Mark. Again today they were out of traditional pickles like your everyday bbq place has and the drink machine was down. We didn 't get service until 15 mins of sitting down and that was after speaking to Mark making sure he knew we were back to visit and eat. He could not accommodate anything with us not being able to drink what we wanted and when we got up to leave and told the other manager with glasses and a mustache that we would never come back and he said that 's okay you 're one in a million, it won 't hurt us. If he had accommodated me for something he would 've probably kept me as a customer but not only did you lose out on the entire meal we didn 't eat but a customer and a whole bunch Of people to follow. Take care and GOOD LUCK Maybe this is why we are literally the only people in the restaurant each time we go and y 'all had a tv promotion going today to help boost business."

"I ordered the brisket and the white meat chicken. The brisket is a third fat. I got a leg and a leg. They replaced it with the correct order of white meat. The bride was so bad we didn't go back."

"This was our first time to eat here because we live out of town. But this place was AMAZING! The food was fabulous! It was so tasteful and delicious!!! The staff was all so friendly and helpful!! They went out of their way and beyond to help us. Absolutely come back!"

"This is one of the few places you cooked back in time to the delicious home country meals! We are new in the area and had heard from this restaurant so decided to try it. When we moved up, you can see that it is an older place. We went in and we put our order in the register. Your menu also has several options with a children's menu. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean and open with comfortable seating. I tried her award-winning chicken roasted steak with okra and corn. My husband tried her ribeye sandwich while our children had fried shrimps. Their portions were a very good size and the food was delicious! In any case, will return to try more delicious items on their menu!"

"Brisket was good. Chicken had good flavor but was dry. Pork ribs seemed to be from the day before. Dark and dry. Beans were good, potato salad had too much stuff in it, just not for me. Friendly staff and prices are reasonable. Would go back."
