"Good spread for the price. Brisket was excellent. Ribs were fall off the bone tender, to those who will say that's overdone I beg to differ. The sausage was just ok. The beans were flavorful with lots of coarse black pepper. The potato salad is like mashed potato salad like grandma used to make. The best item we had were the texas torpedoes, the best part is I didn't have to do them myself. Finding the place is a little difficult due to it being in the middle of a small shopping center. Keep up the great work, definitely will be back."

"I really wanted to like this place more. It's run by some friendly people and they try and greet people as they leave...homey feel. I got the PhattBoy #1 to get an impression of three staples...the chicken, ribs and brisket. It's a lot of food for the money. I just wish I say better things about it. I started into the chicken and the breast was really dry. It was tender, but it was dry and there wasn't enough sauce included to be able to dip the chicken into for moisture. The rib was fall off the bone tender...that's good. But there just wasn't that much flavor there. The brisket slices were easy to cut, chew and all...but again...there just wasn't that much smokey or meaty flavor. I have have my taste...I've not had CoVid and everything I eat has flavor. I just have to say...the BBQ is OK, but not something that's going to put this place at the top of my BBQ destinations. And that stinks cuz they're just around the corner from my home. I hope they succeed, but we're not going to be regulars most likely."
