"Having eaten at Miss Vy's restaurants in Hoi An on a trip to Vietnam several years ago, we were so excited when House of Hoi An opened in Windsor. We haven't been disappointed yet.We visited on a rainy Thursday evening and the spiced Vietnamese tea offered on arrival was so warming and very welcome respite from the cold. As an entree, we shared the 'roll your own' bbq pork with rice paper and it was just as good as we remembered in Hoi An. For mains we shared the eggplant clay pot with minced pork and onion sauce (the best thing on the menu, in my opinion) and the caramelised pork belly with coconut rice. Both were absolutely delicious and the eggplant is a must-try. Flavoursome, tender and so very moreish.The restaurant was busy when we last visited but the staff handled it easily. We also drank a bottle of wine from the house wine list and found that it was an enjoyable bottle that was reasonably priced. I believe House of Hoi An also does BYO wine but I'm not sure of the corkage.The team running House of Hoi An clearly know what they're doing, from the chefs to the wait staff and we have happily made it a local favourite."

"Great food, good value for money, hot bbq sauce is top, fries great (not that thin maccas chip) have nice spice on them and the American selection of beers and drinks adds to the food. Meat only ever had the brisket but it is good."

"What’ stands out for me with this pho joint is that the restaurant’s broth is unique compared to the stock standard pho you usually get around Melbourne. Mopho Canteen’s pho has a more of a pungent fish sauce aroma and taste. It’s brilliant. I reckon I’ve eaten here at least 5 times now and can’t go wrong with their signature “Mo Pho”. Filling , comforting and somewhat I brainwashed myself believing I’m eating something healthy with the amount of bok choy and tofu served in the dish. Just make sure you get table water for yourself because the saltiness can be intense (which is absolutely flavoursome) to quench your thirst after a few mouthfuls. Pretty good stuff."

"This place clearly rates itself as hip and trendy based on the service. It isn't. The food is very ordinary and poor value. Frankly, Id rather pop up the road for a Vietnamese Pho if I was looking for a cheap meal. Ive been here three times now just to make sure I wasn't imaging things. I wasn't. Walk on by....."

"Come here for coffee every now and then and it's normally really nice, however last time I went it tasted a bit burnt. I also find that when you walk in here, it's always a bit awkward, you don't really know where to stand. Have found a few of the staff a bit awkward too. Really cute place though, will need to come here and eat sometime."

"Mr Mister delivered friendly service, a light-filled ambience and excellent strong (as ordered) hot coffee. His carrot cake waffles were beautifully presented and really tasty. My potato rosti was crispy and delicious. There is plenty of competition for brunch customers in this area, but this...was a star performer."
