"Tables are pretty close to each other which makes it difficult to have a conversation. It's like we're all at the same table we're so close. For example, our table didn't have a working marker for our menu so we asked the table to our right. The table on the other side of them heard our question and offered a working marker from their table. Love the meatballs. Love the selection. The menu is a bit confusing at first. The menu is the same as last year so some updates would be nice"

"The taste of the food was between ok and good, nothing special. I had higher expectations after seeing reviews. I ordered a pasta dish with sausage. I guess pasta, sauce and sausage are homemade, but I was disappointed when the dish arrived with 3 small bites of sausage. I ordered a cocktail that arrived weak and mostly with ice in the shape of a juice glass. When the waitress noticed that I drank it in a few sips, I asked for another one, but without ice. What I got was an 8 ounce glass of milk with a dash of Kahlua in it. No way to impress. I just wanted a good drink."

"Yable for in the bar on a Sunday at bar tender for the entire restaurant and not enough servers. Our waiter was nice but not really attentive. Would bring dinner without taking away appetizers plates, would wait for utensils AFTER food was delivered. We ordered dessert but were told the kitchen closed at Completely understand but you need to give your customers a heads up about time. We spent good money here and were disappointed on the lack of good service. We made a stink about it and ended up getting dessert to split. Need more staff and better communication. Food is really good bit we all walked out frustrated with service"

"Oakleys has always been high on our list. The food did not disappoint, in fact , it was probably the best meal we’ve ever had there the duck, Brussels sprout salad, French onion soup. What did disappoint was the alcohol part of the meal. I ordered a vodka martini which was delicious but the tiniest pour I’ve ever been served. Couldn’t have been more than 2 oz total. And for the pleasure I was charged $14.50. A little outrageous. The wine pour wasn’t much better. Overall I like Oakleys but will skip the cocktail next time. I would have wanted to give them 5 out of 5 but they need to step up in the alcohol department."

"My friends have been recommending this place for a year or so and we finally decided to give it a try. Located in a great area surrounded by various restaurants and shops, the place looked like an average bar-restaurant, with plenty of TVs and bar decor. We seated ourselves and a server came to take our drink orders after a few moments. However, the beer menu was on a chalkboard on the wall, which wasn 't visible unless you were in direct line of sight, so we skipped the drinks. The menu had several options, but it was hard to read due to the faded color scheme it was printed in. We had three different servers who attended to us, which was a bit confusing, but they were all attentive. We ordered the dirty tots which were massive, but the excessive amount of cheese on them masked any other flavors. The wings were excellent and shareable. I ordered the hot corned beef and pastrami sandwich, but the meat combination was strange, and one of them was so chewy that I had to remove it from the bread to eat. I wouldn 't order that mix again. We shared an order of fries, which were plentiful, but we didn 't like them. They were supposedly the best fries in the universe, but they had a sugar blend on top with a little bit of salt, which didn 't satisfy our taste buds. Overall, the atmosphere was interesting, and I might come back if I 'm craving a hot deli sandwich, but it won 't be a regular spot for me."
