"Classic white table restaurant. Our reservation was on the early side so the dining room was quiet on arrival. As the evening progressed, more diners arrived and there was a noticeable hum in the air. The service was incredible. Our servers were attentive, informative and friendly. A plus! I ordered the king fish and it was perfectly prepared, crispy on the outside full of flavor and tender on the inside. I also could not resist ordering a side of grits with Gouda. I love grits and this one was smooth and flavorful. 10 out of 10. We shared the citrus pound cake for desert. The cake was more like a scone with a hard consistency I was not expecting that. It was topped with a citrus sorbet that was perfect in every way. Overall, our experience was lovely and we will certainly be back."

"Pho Eye Round and Tendon sooooo Delicious?? with David. There is a large Vietnamese population here so we are getting to try some things we can't get in Lexington. This place has a big variety of authentic dishes to choose from like steamed grilled pork rolls. The base for the Pho is very balanced with all the spices shining through. Very Ample pieces of Tendon in the soup as well. "Sunday night business dinner. Restaurant barely full but two very large parties seemed to occupy our waitress a good deal of the time. Appetizers took forever and when delivered were cold. Brick chicken was good but shrimp po’boy wasn’t. And beignet dessert bites were heavy, doughy and tasted like old oil. Just awful. So disappointing. I know our waitress tried harder at the end but it just didn’t work. Can’t recommend and I won’t be back."

"Beautiful restaurant. The food was good. My only complaint is on the shrimp and grits. I don't know if, because we arrived at 8 I received an eating soup spoon of grits. But, that's what I revieced for $21.00. The waitress correct it and gave me more without question. So, it worked out."

"The food is absolutely five stars. It 's not your usual oh, I think I fancy Chinese take out tonight .. And that 's not a bad thing. The flavors are fresh, portions generous, and menu exciting. The only drawback is the size of space and the overwhelming smell of kitchen space which is open to dining room. I want to smell my food, I don 't necessarily want to be inundated with all the scents coming from the kitchen. Because of this, I sit in the back courtyard whichis lovely but limits the time frame of when I can eat there. But the food is en Pointe."

"There is no better barbecue in America, trust me. At my house we LOVE barbecue. We believe this is the best barbecue in the U.S.A. We live in Georgia and make it a point to stop here every time we visit New Orleans, even if we are just passing through. All of their meats are delectable, finger licking, delicious. My very favorites are the brisket and sausage, lord I love sausage, so try theirs with the mustard sauce. The brisket is so astonishingly good. It doesn’t need any sauce at all, just eat it plain and eat it all and appreciate the glorious, buttery fat and dry rub. It’s so damn good. Don’t miss out on the great sides too, like those awesome cornbread muffins and Mac and cheese. Bottom line, if you find yourself in New Orleans, you simply must head to the Joint for at least one meal. You will not be disappointed they are the best anywhere!!"
