"Had the brisket sandwich with optional Slav. it's one of the best I had at BBQ joints. the maisbrot was cake-like, very fine and sweet. like most maisbrot, and was on my family. the makkaroni and cheese side was good except she had too much heat. I like to taste pasta and cheese. good sweet tea (and they are far south enough they can only ask for tee)."

"I have my first taste of king’s barbecue as a child. over 50 years later I will not go through petersburg without stopping at king’s. the chop meat and the koleslaw are amazing, but the apple cake is absolutely heavenly! they also occasionally have whole cake to go!"

"Just delicious and the checkout was very friendly and familiar with the menu and knew what to suggest to my husband and I and brought the food to our car when it was ready. We were not big fans of mustard sauce and the chicken was a little dry, but what we came was the RIBS and they were right at the point! We'll be back! Thank you."
