"My family and I have been eating here for years. It is the best, local BBQ spot in Sapulpa, hands down! A locally owned mom and pop operation, it is clean and the service is great! They have a buffet at lunch with bologna, pulled pork, chicken tenders, smoked sausage, corn nuggets, fried potatoes, a salad bar with many sides like tabouli (the best in Sapulpa!!!, broccoli salad, potato salad and all the fixings including cobbler and delicious soft serve ice cream. They also have an extensive menu with awesome sandwiches and delicious burgers. If you live here or are traveling thru Sapulpa, you really must try this cozy, Route 66 themed, tasty place!!"

"I was able to go on their last day of business which was December 31, 2022. Freddie's has been our family's go to Lebanese steak house in the Tulsa area. It has been worth the short drive to Sapulpa. We have been eating there for 40 years. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here. Family dinners in their banquet hall. It is sad to see it go away. After the owner Ed Slyman passed away the family decided not to continue. We would eat there often and also stop by for orders to go. We got quarts of their fantastic tabouli to go a well as their mini cabbage rolls that they made for the holidays. They were always a big hit at party's served 50 to a pan. My favorite steak was the ribeye. My wife and mom's favorite was the filet. I never have had a bad steak from Freddie's. Steaks were served with their signature smoke sauce. I rarely use any steak sauce. But, I had learned to like their smoke sauce. They bottled it and sold by the hostess stand. Best way do describe it is a slightly beef au jus with a little soy sauce. It is addicting if you like salty sauces. My wife would use it at home for all kinds of meat to marinade and flavor. I am not aware of other Lebanese steak houses except in Oklahoma. It is a great concept to add Lebanese items with a usually American main entree dish. If you have never been to a Lebanese steak house you are in for a treat and a lot of food. First thing served to you is Tabouli. Then you get a relish tray with hummus tahini. Next comes a cabbage roll with a little basket of barbecue ribs and baloney. Then a dinner salad if you didn't order double tabouli like we always did. They had the best tabouli I have every had at a restaurant. Then you got your main dish which was usually a steak. It comes with a side of baked potatoes or steak fries. As you can see you have left overs for later, or if you eat it all you all it was hard to drive home in a food coma. Been there! The atmosphere was always laid back and comfortable. A great steak dinner with all the appetizers at a fair price. My service this day was very efficient and quick with feeling rushed. They have said on their Facebook page they will be posting their recipes for all to enjoy. I am looking forward to the Tabouli, Hummus, Cabbage rolls and smoke sauce! Now there is only one remaining Lebanese steak house in Tulsa Jamil's. One in Drumright OK Joseph's. At one time there were five in Tulsa alone with Eddy's and Silver flame gone too."

"Came for the first time to grab a To-go order and felt very welcome! The owner welcomed us and was pleased to inform us about the restaurant, its food and even customer recommendations. He let us know about himself and in conversation said I have nothing but time and a desire to do it right! You can say his heart is in his food and restaurant. He wants to make it right and appreciate its customers. He already welcomes many names that repeat customers and with a friendly smile! Now on food.. we ordered sausages, ribs, shrimps and glands (our favorite) as well as sides. Surprising when you go to a restaurant, you expect the most important foods to be the best, but here you will also love their pages. Beans, maize bread, potato salad, macaroni and cheese. They all have their own unique and tasty twist to them, so you should also taste the pages. We also loved their decorations that were detailed with a love of John Wayne. What a great place, we are always happy to meet great people and enjoy wonderful food!"
