"I even paid for extra BBQ sauce but when Uber eats came there wasn’t even the initial BBQ sauce much less the extra I paid for. Not to mention it was supposed to have cole slaw and potato salad with the pulled pork as a large bowl. Tried to at least salvage the potato salad and found like 2 chunks of small potatoes. Threw entire meal away. Wasted money. Do not recommend at all. Horrible when they can’t follow simple written directions or even give you what it should come with. Ordering something else now."

"Very clean, but not many people were there. easy sitting at the bar. beer is really cold, but so was the bartender. I ordered a black and bleu burger with speck. it was huge! Tater-Tarts were the bombs! they look at it anyway because that was not waiting."

"I know ... a wedge salad is a wedge salad, but Jackson 's found a way to make it better. The blue cheese dressing here is delicious, and the marinated flank steak was so flavorful. My gf got the Mediterranean Shrimp Salad and noted that every bite seemed to have something different and had so much flavor. Our friends had the blackened amberjack and also had nothing but good things to say. The cocktails were also great, and dining outside on the water just makes it all even better. I can 't believe I 've lived in the Tampa area so long and didn 't know about Jackson 's. We 'll be going back for sure."

"Had a delicious lunch with my wife. Ribbons, onion rings and some beers. Sandy was very polite and friendly waitress. Clean bathroom, lots of parking and indoor area: recommend this place at reasonable prices."

"This place gets everything right. First the building looks like a nice southern roadhouse, the interior is decorated with license plates, old americana stuff like classic Tonka trucks and farming swag and there is always old country music playing in the background. The portions are huge, the ribs fall off the bone, the sausage is delicious, the catfish is unique but fantastic. The pulled pork is tender and bursting with flavor and they have every side you could imagine. I am a huge fan of their mac n cheese, fried okra and greens. I have also heard great things about their beans. There are two drinks that pair perfect with BBQ, that is beer and sweet tea. Hanks has both of those and their sweat tea is fantastic. Since moving to FL 7 years ago I have become obsessed with BBQ. Out of all the great options in Tampa, and there are many; Holy Hog, Wholly Smokes, Mission, Jazzy's, Al's, BBQ King and Jimbo's, I would have to say Hank's is the best. Right up there, if not better than Al's in Ybor and First Choice in Brandon."

"This place is really on the hill. I used to get the best brisketburger here. now you don't even get brisket on the burger when you order one (because they forget to make it right, the fries are cold as if they have been sitting for half an hour, the burgerpatty is incredibly small and doesn't even cover the bungalow, and this is waiting for their order after 25 minutes because only 3 people work in the entire restaurant. not sure what happened to this place, but recently, when I got in, no one working the front counter is ever. sad to see such a good place, they go into the booze."

"Between myself and my wife and son we got their pulled brisket sandwich platter w/ collards and their Hog Feed aka corn pudding, a Tampa two and I believe what is called the Dirty Dog (jalapeno cheddar sausage with pulled pork and cheese on top). The food was great! Perfectly smoked meats not hiding in sauce unless you want it to, unlike some other spots. Make sure you get a cup of their Wicked Juice to wash it all down. This was our first time and we'll definitely be back!"

"We stumbled on this place and I am glad we stopped. The fries are good. The smoked turkey was on the dry side but still so flavorful. The sweet corn fritter bites sealed the deal! The Texas toast was grilled perfectly and with a mix of the Carolina and sweet bbq sauces, delicious."
