"That was the second time that I met in this restaurant with family members, and I cannot owe the service here. we met before on a Sunday to lunch and found it very busy, but still enjoyed it. this time we met for Saturday dinner and there were only a few people who were perfect for us. we had a beautiful owal story that is much better than a straight table, as we were all able to talk to each other very easily. the meals were well presented and no one had complained about eating or paving. we needed wheelchair access for one of our party, which was also not a problem. all in all, a very pleasant family dinner and we would meet again in the future safely."

"We'd arranged to walk in the area with friends and so we decided to book lunch. Three of us had the duck special and the other the lamb shank. The duck was cooked to perfection and as always the meat fell off the bone on the lamb shank. It's a busy pub and quite rightly so. I look forward to our next visit."
