"We were looking for somewhere different for lunch. Shangrila is it! We got pay parking on the street and ventured into this Tibetan/Nepalese resto. What a great find! Two of the trio had noodles...very Chinese like but excellent. The third friend took a chance on...the dumplings. Resembling Chinese dim sum style dumplings the trio of Chicken, beef and veggie came in a steamer basket . Piping hot and juicy, they were perfect. We started with a share plate of crispy cauliflower which was served with the special house sauce. Yum. One dish generously served three of us! The sauce was a creamy paste containing chiles, oil, mint and garlic and maybe roasted red pepper. Spicy but not too much. There were Tibetan families enjoying the cuisine as well so we felt as if we had lucked out on this find. There is a full bar menu and the price was very reasonable for a delicious meal. Service was friendly and attentive. We will go back."
