"Greeted coming in store by employees. Ordered sandwiches, fruit and soup with drinks was brought to the table. Soup was hot and generous for a cup that was enough for me to eat. Sandwich was assembled as ordered and not overpowered by dressing(a plus) as some get a little carried away condiments. Server was great on checking with us for food preparation, drink refills or if we neede 'go ' container. All employees as we were leaving thanked for stopping by business. Cleaning of tables and surfaces were done by area when cudtomers left paying attention to surfaces where food was served and eaten. Mask wearing is optional and recommended for safety of all but not required. When we visited it was mid afternoon few customers plenty of sitting for social distancing."

"Very disappointed! I ordered the ultimate nachos asked that the cheese chili be put on the side. When I finally got home, I realized I didn't get cheese or chili. I called they said come on back we'll give it to you. I live on the other side of town."

"Went to the location on Georgia today at 12:20 in the afternoon. I always check my food when stopping here because they never impress me. It's always something, well today once I opened my box of food there was a hair right next to the orange chicken. I yold the lady I didn't want it because of that, she looks at me and says we wear hair nets. Apparently not if there is hair in my food, I parked and went in because this is not acceptable, no apology nothing. When I went inside., None of them had on hair nets, so she lied. This place will never get my business, next stop is the health department"

"We absolutely loved our dinner at OHMS. We were visiting Amarillo for a couple of days and staying at the Barfield downtown. I researched dinner spots and this place seemed to be the best choice. It was exactly the right choice. I called about two weeks ahead and was able to get reservations at the time we wanted. We started with cocktails. They were both good but the bourbon old fashioned was better than the gin cocktail. And the old fashioned here was better than a similar drink at the Paramount Recreation Club next door, the Speakeasy in the basement of the Barfield that you gain entry by buying Paramount cigarettes from an antique machine (suddenly the door behind you opens and voila you 're in). Back to the main story... For appetizer we shared a special of the night, the crab cakes. They were perfectly seared and they were bursting with crabmeat. Spiced just right. And the accompanying sauce, we wanted to lick the plate clean. They were really good. For the mains, one of us had Elk and the other had Chicken. The Elk, recommended medium rare, was oh so tender and moist. The local mushrooms that accompanied were worthy of their own dish. The risotto at the bottom was also good. Unfortunately the photo doesn 't show a dish as delicious as it was. We were surprised a little that the Elk wasn 't more gamey tasting. It 's not a bad thing, just was a surprise. The chicken was also outstanding. Crunchy and moist. The asparagus was firm but tender, and the mashed potatoes were excellent. I must say it could have used a little more gravy as all that gravy was gone a bit before the chicken was. But then i am a sauce guy. No room for dessert. Would love to visit for dinner again! "My husband and I went here Saturday around 4 for dinner. The food was not good at all. We have eaten here several times before. About 5 hours after we ate I ended up at the ER with food poisoning. Do not eat here!!!!!!!!!! The seafood was old and stinky and the egg soup tasted very weird. Never again will we go back. This place should be shut down."

"The Big Texan Steak Ranch certainly lives up to its name! After seeing many billboards, we decided to stop for lunch last week, and we were not disappointed. The closest thing to this that we can find at home is Texas Roadhouse, but The Big Texan is really so much better. The prices were good, especially the ribeye lunch special (which is what we both ordered). The food was great. The steak was extremely tender and tasty. The sides were great, too, especially the chili— you could tell it was homemade, packed with meat and flavor. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the other employees in the gift shop area were friendly as well. This is a neat place to stop and take a look around, even if you’re not looking for a meal. There are a lot of Texas-themed gifts as well as some not specific to Texas. They also have a little bakery case there with some delicious and huge slices of cake (we tried the red velvet and it was honestly the best red velvet we’ve had in a while). There’s also an array of sugar cookies decorated with royal icing that also looked delicious, as well as ice cream and fudge."
